Thanks. Im hoping to get a rough idea for torque on aftermarket rims. i just got the 15" steel ones now cuz I didnt want to pay a crap load for the GM rims that aren't really that impressive to begin with. thanks for your input. i appreciate it.

when gunning them on us a "yellow" torque stick betwen the impact socket & air gun. and then using a torque wrench have it set a 100 ft./lbs. torque.

Torque only to factory Specs! Look in the owners manual -- 100 ft lbs.

My ADR's said not to be torqued to more then 80Ft/lbs! So mine have been torqued to 80 and rechecked again at 100 miles.

My 100 lb torque stick is white! And torque sticks suck ass. They are horribly wrong!

impact gunning lugnuts almost got me killed.
I had some tires put on at a shop a few years ago on my sunfire....
going down the road at 100km/h i felt a vibration....2 minutes later it got worse so i began slowing down, by the time i was at 30km/h my car began to lope a bit, by the time i hit 15, it was wobbling bad....then at 5km/h my right front wheel was rolling in the ditch beside my car as i slid to a stop.

dont **** with stupid impacts. torque them properly.
