I have a similar thread up and although I got a lot of good feed back, I didn't really get what I was looking for. I thought this would be a little more to the point. So if anyone has numbers please post em. Dyno graphs would be great.

There will be very little gained at all from adding just a cat-back exhaust. The point of bolt ons is so they work in conjunction with eachother ie: intake, header, downpipe, cat-back. That is the only way they will work to any good gains.

dyno'ing before and after adding just a cat-back is a waste of time and money

The stock exhaust flows pretty good I would worry about traction first than add power.
Even though Im a 2.0 my exhaust is all stock and I managed pretty decent times with it.

Ok I'm sorry maybe I'm not getting my point across. I want to check to see if anyone who OWNS a 2.4 SS and has a 2 and a 1/4 inch exhaust has any quarter mile times or dyno numbers. It's ok if they have other bolt ons. I know how bolt ons work. I am just curious to see some numbers. I know the stock exhaust is 2.5 to the rear axle. That's why I just did an axle back with a magnaflow muffler. I know that chances are someone wouldn't dyno their car with just an exhaust, but maybe somewhere there is a person who has a dyno of their car with exhaust, intake, headers, and down pipe. And maybe I can compare it to my dyno with my exhaust, intake, headers and down pipe. Or maybe someone went to the track bone stock and then went with a cat back and ran a better time. What people don't seem to get is that this thread is aimed at someone who has 2 1/4 just so I can maybe compare the graphs and see their torque curve. Or see how someones car responded in the 1/4 mile. I know no 2 cars are the same. But I'm just curious. So if you have a 2 1/4 inch exhaust, some numerical info would be great. If you have a 2 1/2 inch exhaust and your oppinion on 2 1/4, thanks but it's not what I'm looking for. Not trying to be rude or anything.

oh and by the way debadging a car and wasting 600 or more dollars on a 2 1/2 inch cat back when the stock exhaust is already 2 1/2 and mandrel bent can also be considered by some to be a waste of time and money

If you hit 13.8 with your stock exhaust, those are great times man!

I left the 2.25 alone put a magnaflow on I don't have track times. but i do have dyno #'s w/ cai tune and the muffler I will edit this post let me go pull them from photobucket if I have trouble posting them I will pm them to you The 2nd one i have to get the torque curve from the dyno shop but pretty much will vary on daily elements I've got an average of 156.3 hp and 154 tq after tune if i average all my slips plus I still need to go get the afrs' down they are 13.2 to 13.5 at times on the second dyno is what you'll be close to that was cai, muffler
