Hey guys for those of you that showed up to the Orlando meet thanks it was a good time and now time to start planning for February. February 24th, the last Saturday of the month lets get it going again and have the Orlando crew come to Tampa.

Most of us work during the week, myself I work evenings and planning it a few weeks in advance makes it easier to get a number of how many people are going to show up. Yeah dude its was a good time. 21 cars, 15 SS/SC's and a couple 2.4 SS's and 2 Redlines and a regular Ion and a nasty Automatic SC vette running alcohol and nos running 9's in the 1/4.

we are having a big track meet of about 15-20 redlines/saturns out at bradenton on the 24th... you should make your meet out there and have it a track day as well.

Hey bro, sorry I didn't make it...got called out to work early in the morning and never got a chance to get to my phone... HOPEFULLY I will be able to make the Tampa meet; pisses me off that I miss this one.

 

Its straight dude, I was wondering what happened though but like I said its cool. It should be bigger this time if everyone that was there shows up and the few that didnt. Im hoping for 30 cars

Its south of Tampa, about 45 miles from here.

 

bradenton is right next to sarasota i think south of tampa

Best??? How bout the WORST! Thats where I snapped my axle at. They brely prep the track

 

lol nice, did you go on a club 1320 night/day? that's the only time they don't do prep. otherwise they're great, up there with Gainsville. Orlando Speedworld is known for it's lack of prep. most of us run .3-.7 seconds faster and with higher traps over at Bradenton.

 

I will go in a year or so. My girl grew up on Anna Maria Island and her family lives in Bradenton. We're looking at moving back there after we graduate in the spring. Hopefully we can find jobs down there...

 

i seriously dont see how people spin thier tires at bradenton... that track is rediculous good prep and sticky as hell. even my bald ass dunlops grab there.

 

Been to desoto once before but way too far from orlando to drive just for the night especially on a clutch that is dieing off. But hopefully be able to make it to the tampa meet. We shall see right before the 24th with work and such but only one problem cant have no other silver SSs there might cause some conflict.
