Well we did this once before but the site wasnt as large as it is now so we're at it again.

WE WANT ALL TRI-STATE COBALT OWNERS!!!!!

If you are in the Tri-state area leave a post in this thread with your name and location so we can get a database built. With this database in place we can begin to organize regional meets and what not. We will also be needing people from PA, NJ, NY that would be willing to help out by setting up meets for their respective states.
If you would like to help simply PM me or email me with tehe subject line "Tri-state Cobalts."

Thanks Cavy.. I have had set something up like this in the past.. And for everyone that has sent me an E-mail saying they would love to be included, I GOT IT dont think I just blew it off.... In about 2 weeks.. ( Give or take ) We are going to have a meeting or a meet and great at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack NY.... I figure we meet there for the first time since it's REAL easy to get to.. It's only the second LARGEST MALL in the America... I am open to sugjestions... But the mall have the parking.. I'm going to try and talk to the manager of the mall maybe we can have one of the back lots to ours selvs..... Pluss we can eat in there, have a couple of drinks, shop---- for those that want to.. lol.... and we can figure it out from there....... I WILL POST MORE DETAILS AS THEY COME IN.... Whats up guys.. It's totaly understandable if it's a far drive.... Shoot.. I'd say the same thing.... But for the people that it's not... COME ON DOWN...

And yes.... The Plan is to set up Subchapters... For our area.. It would make things a lot easier.. I know....

This is in it's INFANT stages.... So lets support it as much as possible and make it grow where we could have a "sub chapter of the SUB CHAPTER of The Chapter" lolol

I'm up :) No but seriously, I can only go to meets after Sept. 12... my bday...however I do want these meets to happen. Theres not that many cobalts around yet. There is this kid like two towns away from me that has a Silver SS/SC. He's not on this site, i don't know why, but when I mentioned the meet that was last sat. which was cancelled, he seemed interested. He told me to call him if I went. That might be one more cobalt owner that can go :cssNET:

For what it's worth..the "Tri-State Area" varies from region to region..
When I lived in CT, the "tri-state" was CT, NY, MA.
Down here, its generally VA,MD,DC..tho DC isn't really a state.

OK.. I'll make this easy... Tri-State.. is what the plan or vision is... But we have to take baby steps to get to the adult steps first...

Have a few meets.... In areas.... Hmmm Let me say it this way..... We'll have OUR chapter and eventually have sub chapters!.....

I'm taking the lead up here and I have a couple of people that are willing to help make this happen... I should also SAY that it takes EVERYONE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN....

By the way.. I traded in my 88 Berreta GT 5 spd for my LS Coupe Jeph.. lol...

as for which car.. Bring what ever you want.. shoot bring them both.. lol I work for Toyota as a car salesman.. I'm going to try and get "SCION EVOLOUTION" to come.. I met the captain of that chapter, have his cell #....... The more the better people... No fighting tho..

OK... When I say try state.. I'm THinking NJ, NY, Southern CT, and well I guess Eastern PA.. Now I KNOW it's far for a lot of people to drive.... Best thing at this point is to just have a get together at palisades back commuter lot, to late in the season to organize a big event or something too complicated, just some guys swapping stories or what not in a parking lot, we have met there before with the srt's in the area and it worked out well, albeit cold that day ;)
Security left us alone and everything then moved inside as the sun went south to a restaurant....Fox sports grill is great to go to! :cssNET:

we can set up to have guys meet after 5pm this way travelers can get there a little early and people closer can get there at 6-7 then we can hang till it's dark and go into the mall for dinner or something...

Some one over on the .com said they meet at the avaition plaze every saturday night 7/8pm to about midnight. A bunch of SRT4s and such... but they seem cool.

I was thinking about going there this saturday as its only about 20 minutes from my house...

Gonna see if I can find someone to roll out with me. My one friend has a '00 celica GTS and another has a '91 Camaero with a 351 swap.

Us few western new yorkers need somethin a little closer than NJ....
I work and/or attend classes every day of the week. The farthest east I can go on any given day with this schedule is rochester. If you want to plan something concrete a few weeks in advance, then that would be somethin i could do.

This get together isnt a major one more of a local one Kyri is planning the Tri-state meet im just doing pre-meets For the NJ area at this point and time (even tho all are invited to attend). If you would like your more then welcome to set-up something in your area. We intend on each state having their own chapters.

If you guys wanna do something really cool... drive an extra 30 -45 minutes to Linden NJ, Aviation Plaza and meet up with about 15 srt4s... really cool ppl, hung out with them last saturday, and got a free spin in Mike from Psi-Fi's Redline (with the kit) It was fing fast!!!

Gas prices is where it went. I make a measely 84 a week. Half of that goes to gas :(. Gas is supposed to rise again this week too because of hurricane Rita. I have to start riding my bicycle to school now :mad:

well the meet was good not the turn out i had hoped for but not bad for a first time get together. Finally got to meet MoMo789 very good guy in my book (thanks for letting me drive)

There will be another meet next month location and exact date are still undecided, but i will be sure to keep you guys in the know.
