20inch wheels? anyone running them?

I was just on You Tube and I saw that yellow S/C running 20inch wheels. I know they would be heavy but wow they made the car look exotic in away.. Just wondering if one needs to mod anything to put them on or what? And would that set up hurt the car?

I think 20's on a cobalt look ridiculous.

i think if you have a lowered car and kit and the "right" rims, they dont look as huge.

are those rims 7.5 in width? they look a little wider than stock. i was looking at my car and saw that the tires were really close to the suspension and it looks like that if i put bigger rims on, the wheels would rub against the coils. what did you (and anyone else) do to solve that problem?

cipher, the rims are 7.5 wide but i had a custom offset cut for them when they drilled the custom lug pattern. I wish I could remember what it is now. They honed about 3-4 mm off of each.

impulse,thanks man.I hadn`t ever had a sig.So i thought i`d have one made up when i got the new car.Funny the club prez dosn`t even drive a "J" anymore.

Well i have not had problems rubbibing with my 20s and we got some pretty rough roads around my town. but I plan on lowering it in the spring, but I don;t think I will have a problem as long as i watch where i drive and go slow over bumps. Besides if your running 20s, you should not be flying down roads especially with a 35 series tire.
