I was out tuning my cobalt about a month and a half ago, and I was arrested and cited with a $445 Criminal ticket, and got 12 points on my license! Do you have any documents stating only 3 pts were to be placed on your licencse? If so, I would definitely take that with you because 3 points isn't that bad, but 12 is horrible! Sorry to hear about that crap. Datalogging your car should not be illegal. That is some bullshit!

It's when you have a laptop, a wireless card and you drive around town scanning the area for wireless networks (routers). Basically, you could pull up at someones house and access their computer if they aren't smart enough to password protect. In some cases, even if it was password protected, with the right program, you could get right inside and have your way.

He said he was going to give me reckless driving for dodging in and out of traffic, but there was NO traffic. I was on a back country road, he was just lying and trying to intimidate me with fear. In actuallity I was driving fast, but he just had no idea how fast and was trying to intimidate me into giving up information.

It worked.....I now fear cops and have a hatred for them, dispite having respect for them before.

When you are put in my situation on a back country road with no witnesses on your side with a cop who will not call for back up to get someone to help make sense of the situation and he is lying to try to take away your car send you to jail fine you money and REVOKE your license, then you let me know. That cop was holding his gun half the time and intimidating me. Then he threw me in the back of his car and striped my car apart looking for something to arrest me for, then let me go when he found nothing and lied on the ticket so he could justify having wrongfully arrested me. It is a situation that happened a long time ago, and I am not reacting out of anger from a recent incident, I am acting out of built hatred since then. Even if he only gave me a ticket for 12 over which would have been fine, it would have only been a simple $140 ticket, he had not right to drag it to the extent he took it, and having to make me go through court and all of that bologne where he can continue to lie about what happened to get some satisfaction out of taking a decent person and turning them into one they should watch out for.

If you didn't answer him, there wouldn't have been a difference either way. What happened, happened. You either learn from it and move on or sit here and dwell on it and not solve anything. If you keep feeling this way, you're going to end up in an even WORSE situation the next time you get pulled over.

this asswipe of a cop nearly side swiped me as I was going 40 on 24th st and just nearing southern. as I approached the intersection the cop just sat there, then within about 100 feet he decides its ok to turn left and I ended up spinning my ride in parallell of the direction he was now heading. I followed his ass and reported his car number. They pleaded with me to not follow him and I said your either taking his vehicle number and disciplining him or im sueing the city of phoenix.

this is just a guess, but in one post, he said he wqas pulled over for 10 over, in another post, he claimed he wasn't speeding, but he also mentioned that he was going really fast but the cop had no way to know how fast. my guess is the blew past a cop (with his head down checking his puter), the cop prolly didnt have evidence for speeding but pulled him over, and saw the puter, his mouth started flapping, and he's lucky the cop didnt tow him, and throw him in jail. upon your early bullshit and theoretical resistance, he hit you with the biggest shitball he could, on principle.

The cop said I was doing 12 over. I had been doing around 140+ down the street but had slowed down. The cop told me he had no idea how fast I was going, but then lied and said 12 mph over. I saw the cop and hit my brakes even though I was doing 20 or so over, and by the time I got near him I was not speeding. He just had a hunch and used his authority to exploit my situation where it should have been a warning without having proof of my speed.

As for your assumption that my mouth started flapping, I did not tell the cop anything until after I was free to go. He was actually pissed that I would not talk to him.

That is still the only gun barrel i've ever seen pointed at my chest.

The cop said I was doing 12 over. I had been doing around 140+ down the street but had slowed down.

So him complaining that he was pulled over for speeding and wasn't speeding is pure crap cause he just admitted to doing it and he's trying to pull off something about the cop not seeing him? If he knows the cop didn't see him, he would have seen the cop.

Also, if he's "tuning" why the hell do you need to do 140 MPH? I'm sorry but it is not that serious for someone to say "No no, 90 MPH isn't enough to tune for, I defenitley have to go to 140 in order to get that perfect tune...".
