Tires and Rims for 07' LS
you can put 18s on it.. and he has an ls i think.. you should deff lower it, it looks super gay when its not.. who cares if you live in buff lol.. id rather have a sick looking car worth dropping it, ull hvae no wheel gap sickk i wanna get some 17's or 18;s thios winter.. hey listerman,.. how fucked up is your spedo now?
This has been confirmed:
07 LS and level 1 LT have the 4x100 bolt pattern.
All other trim levels (2 LT and up) have the 5x110.
This is different compared to the 2006 line up where all LS and LT cars had the 4x100 and only the SS's have the 5x110.
I believe the main reason for doing this is to compete. Almost all the other cars in this class now use 5 lug rims, as to why everyone is switching to 5 lug rims I do not know. Eventually I believe chevy will use 5 lug rims on all the cobalts.
My theory is:
All the big car companies have recently introduced a lower trim level car (Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Chevrolet Aveo, etc). And it seems all the lower line cars have now been shifted up towards mid range cars.
I would not worry about the 4x100 bolt pattern being outdated or becoming hard to find wheels for, becuase all the new lower trim cars use this bolt pattern (Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Chevrolet Aveo, etc). Not to mention the years and years of civics that use it.
I DO feel sorry for those who have the 5x110 bolt pattern that chevy seems intent on using. Its an odd-ball pattern that no one else in the industry has yet to use. Almost all the other brands that have switched to 5 bolt use 5-114, so feel happy you have 4x100 :-)
