red/blue??? that is an odd combo.....you would think they would make it the same as the body color or just black.......

I have Black with Recaros

Saw a used blue 06 ss/sc at fairway chevy a few weeks ago. I took a close look at it, and it had the red inserts inside. It looked alright, but just not my cup of tea.

I would say your car is very rare GM do not offer that color scheme... Maybe it was special order for a blind guy.

I was hoping someone could get the 2006 cobalt production figures..... SC's seperated... SC color and options seperated too!!! (I wish)

we could do an online list.... peeps could list the model, color and significant options????
That would give you a rough idea....even if we don't have every SC in the USA on the list!

I don't think it's truly a package.... I think it was a mistake.... the brochures state what the color combos are.... someone on the line (with a hangover) put the red inserts in without noticing... where was Quality Control? coffee break?

it actualy doesnt look too bad, and even on the computer at the dealership that looks at the options it came with, it says red inserts, so it came from the factory like this, they never told me it was a "special eddition" the local dealership doesnt know fat crap about these cars. but it has realy grown on me oh i bought the car with 21 miles on the OD so i highly doubt someone swapped them. yep my doors are red, and so are the back seats.

G85 should have come with the recarros. If you have the standard seat with inserts you paid for the limited slip differential only. Performance package (quaife and seats). I've seen where they just spec the car with the limited slip. Love my recarros though.

Pretty sad someone that doesn't even own a Cobalt has to school almost everyone. In 2005 and 2006(I don't know about right now) when ordering an SS/SC in the colors blue/black/silver you could get any color inserts you want blue/black/yellow/red. When ordering a red ss/sc you could get red/black inserts. Yellow ss/sc, yellow/black inserts. Orange was black inserts only. Also while online in order to pick the G85 package black inserts must be chosen. There was actually a blue w/red inserts and blue w/ yellow inserts at my dealership.

Ahhh damn, some people cannot read. Nobody has said anything about having G85.

This is what I have found out to be true. Arrival Blue was still placed on cars coming off the assembly line till December of 05' this meant that the 06's made in October-December could come in Arrival Blue. Laser blue replaced it in January of 06'. So I'd say an Arrival Blue 06' is rare by itself.

Ha Ha! I have an 06 Laser Blue SS/SC and it actually came with red inserts. The dealership had it on the lot for about 5 months and finally had enough, so they swapped the seats with a black SS/SC (which had a full black interior) that was also on the lot. So, I have the rarest of rare SS's!
