For any SS's who've debadged

Anyone with an SS, if you still have the SS emblem and are not going to use it anylonger, I'd be interested in it. I only need one, from teh outside, not the one on the dash.

Do you think it would look good if I replaced the bowtie on the back with an "SS'" badge instead. I think this would look sick. No other badged except "SS" in the middle and "Supercharged" in the corner...get rid of the "COBALT" badge too. What do you guys think??

Not mine BTW:

No just the one. The SS would replace the bowtie.

Yes, using the one that's already on the trunk lid. I might consider the COBALT badging as well in the centre.

I was looking to get an SS badge from someone who debadged their SS so as to not let them go to waste lol. I am going to replce the bowtie on the FRONT w/ the SS, everything is staying where it is on my car otherwise, someoneelse jacked my thread about putting it in the middle of the trunk

Hmmmmm thanks for the info, I'm thinking about getting an extra badge to paint and see how it looks. The white SS doesn't really do it for me, to me an SS badge should be red. So I'm kicking around the idea of painting a badge to see if I like the looks of it, then if I think it looks decent enough I'll do the other two.

I like that ....for me I would put a white SS (since I have a red car) and then have the spaced cobalt lettering moved as well ...a mix of the two would look DOPE

Thanks - looks sweet although I'm not going to mess with the positioning of the SS badges at all, just paint them red (like SS badges should be). I think the white looks awesome on red and orange, but looks like crap on the other colors, particularly blue, black, and yellow.

::Edit:: OK, I did my own to see what they'd look like, so far I just have the rear photoshopped, sorry for the crappy resolution a lot of the picture quality was lost when I downsized the pic:

I'm thinking about doing the c o b a l t on the center of the trunk on my ss coupe. I've taken badges off before and know the drill with patience and goo gone, but any tips on reapplying the badges? What glue do you use, and how long should it sit?
