Ya.... I traded in the Cobalt.
Got an 04 Volkswagen R32. Here's some pics of it.

Its a 3.2L VR6 with 240hp... They weren't offered in Canada

nice car i have a buddy that had one identical to that. but he wraped it around a tree. those cars are so nice inside and out. but a step down in performance from the balt. but at least it will get some traction out of the hole

You should have gotten a 05-07 R32! those look boss!

BTW, R32's = natural aspirated! No turbo no nothing. Lots of potential.

 

Yes it is definitely slower then the cobalt... but it's a step up in a lot of other ways.
I would have liked to have gotten this car and kept the cobalt but I couldnt swing it at the moment.
Im going to drive this and keep my eye out on the next gen cobalt.

nice. i dont like hatch backs much but that car looks pretty sweet. i wish chevy would put aftermarket wheels on from the factory like every other flippin company

 

yeah its a step up from the cobalt better interior nice seats. congratz on the purchase to. should get a twin-tubo kit form them they make them sick as hell

vr6 is differnt then the r32. the r32 is allwheeldrive. more options andl all

 

In 04 the 3.2L version was only offered in the R32 w/ AWD.
All other models had 2.8L VR6s.

An interesting trade. I'd always heard that those cars were pretty heavy. How fast is it in comparison to the SS? Kinda seems like a WRX minus the turbo lag.

I see a short-ram and some painted calipurs... any other mods going for it?

Very similar performence to a WRX.

Capable of low 14s, with SOME running in the 13s STOCK. And AWESOME handling.

It's a nice car the seats are facking awesome i loved em nice n tight and for a guy like me with a bit of extra weight it's hard to like seats like that but they are just right.

jay ... film to digital? wanna buy my 6 mp camera? I am thinkin of upgrading for a newer model and the one I have is less than a year old.

 

very nice ride, I'm a big fan of the R32...I just love the sound of VR6's! It's really not too much slower than a ss. Close quarter mile times....but obviously slower from a roll. The twin turbo kit from HPA motorsports is sick. Even the the EIP kits are pretty nice. Unfortunately Vdubs are pricey to mod.....but I guess u gotta pay to play Enjoy your new ride.
