The Bi-xenon kits are on special for $275.00 from $325.00.

They last about 7-8 years, and are backed by our 1 year full coverage warranty.

Thanks in advance :)

Should be H11. You might want to confirm with others on the forum.

Let us know when you're ready to order, and we'll give you the discounted price.

Thank you in advance :)

Do the high beams still work with these?

High beams will work if you get the bi-xenon kit.

Howeverm most people just go with the low beam kit, as they don't see a need for the high beams after installing HIDs. Plus, you save $75 ;)

Thanks in advance :)

Vision bulbs can you please explain how your Bi-Xenon kit works? After i purchased you bi-xenon kit i later learned that Bi-xenon's don't actualy get brighter like traditional HighBeams. There is a mechinisim in the housing swivils, pointing the light higher giving you the high beam afect. So i don't know how your Bi-Xenon's will work in our stock housing? Don't get me wrong your kit is of great quality from others i have seen. I love the light output of them i just don't like the fact that i got jiped out of $75.

The "eye" of light, opens slightly to allow more light out. It's difficult to see jut by standing in front of the vehicle, but you should notice a difference when you activate it driving.

Not only do they ship free to canada, they have a canadian office, so NO BORDER FEES!!!!

their H1's fit into projectors without modification, but with a proviso....

I found that modifying them to fit them "better" gave me better lighting output.

The only bulbs that come with the hi/lo combo are: H4, H13, 9004, and 9007.

All other are single beam.

I have projectors, thats why I ask about the double bulb. One hi beam, one low beam. So in total there would be 4 bulbs - not so for H1 HID's?

02-20-2007, 06:21 PM
for projectors you just want HID in lowbeam and a nice halogen in your highbeam.

I guess you could buy a second kit for a highbeam, but it would be a bit of a waste of money.

You just need to replace the low beams.

Really no point in doing the high beams.

Kit includes everything you need to upgrade from halogen to HID.

If you get the single beam kit, then your high beam will no longer be active.

If you go with the bi-xenon, then the high beam will turn on just as your halogens do.

We would suggest the single beam.

My question is in regards to the amount of heat put out by these bulbs. I am running the Halo Projector Headlights and I'm concerned about the heat melting the outer lense right in front of the projector light. Would the 10K or 12K bulbs generate that much heat? I am using Euro Design 8500K H1 bulbs on the Headlights and Euro Design 8500K H11 bulbs in my fog lights right now. I like the way they look, but about evry four or five months I always seem to have to replace a light bulb. It is really beginning to piss me off to the point where I'm ready to put my stock headlights back on.

Thanks for you time and any information you can tell about the above ?.

Hi Brian,

Our bulbs are projector-friendly, so you do not have to worry about them generating too much heat.

I find that funny as I have your bi-xennon kit and plugged everything in as the instructions said to and my high beams do not work.... Could you please tell me if there is something else I have to do to get my high beams working that wasn't listed in the instructions? And if there is something that needs to be done I think you should make it a lot more clear to your potential customers.

hes probably reffering to cheap shoddy kits that come with no power relay, so that you have to draw about 20 thousand volts through your stock headlight wiring during the ignition phase.

Its a good way to melt wires and start fires :)

Yes, if you would like to go with the hi/lo set, it is $275.00.

We usually suggst just going with the single beam kit, as it's not all that necessary to have the highs after you swtich over to HID - plus it saves you $75.

The fogs would require a separate kit, so you would need two kits in total.

They're $200 each when you use the following discount code: COBALTHID

The error that you're getting on our site is likely due to the browser version or security settings you have.

4100k (white) is the brightest you can get. The 6k-8k (blue)/10k-12k (purple) ones are not that much brighter than halogen. The higher you go, the less you can see, but the cooler the color looks.

Brighter is always better, to some extent. 4300K is the brightest we offer, and we would not suggest going any brighter than that.

6000K is our best seller, as it's very bright and clean looking.

How long is your $200 shipped group discount gonna last? I wanna get both the foglight and headlight HID kits in a couple of months. I wont have any extra cash since im puttin it all down on the car soon.

Btw, how much is the regular price and shipping?

And do you ever plan on offering 4100k because arent they the brightest? Are they harder to make or is there a good reason that you dont have them?

Please just contact us when you're ready to order, and we will offer you a great deal :)

The regular price is $259.95 plus $25 shipping.

As for the color, 4300K is stock rated. You would not be able to tell the difference between 4100K and 4300K if they were side by side.

vision bulbs, my 10000K HIDS have two little rubber nipples for mounting I guess..

for some reason, the lights dont go in straight because of these nipples.. (or at least I think), cause in my projectors, i dont get rid of the huge black hole until i have aimed my projectors way up.. which then isnt good cause I will be flashing everyone...

my question is, what happens if you get rid of the nipples?

The 6000K have a very subtle blue to them, that you really only see from the side.

Yes, if you would like to go with the hi/lo set, it is $275.00.

We usually suggst just going with the single beam kit, as it's not all that necessary to have the highs after you swtich over to HID - plus it saves you $75.

Thanks in advance :)

I believe some state motor vehicle codes require a high beam to pass state inspection.

The 9007 kit is plug and play, I just finished installing the kit in my friend's Cobalt and it went smoothly. Different colour temperatures wil not cause extra heat and the HID bulbs are cooler running than halogens. 4300K for the most light output but damn the 6000K is so clean looking!

Yes, they are fully plug & play.

The heat is less than you would find in your halogen, so you do not have to be concerned with overheating damage.

They have a bright white/bluish tint to them, to closer match HID's, so your fog lights dont look yellow, compared to real HID's.

Exactly!

If you're doing the HID conversion on your headlights, then they are a grea compliment on the fogs.

Or, if you don't want to spend the money on HIDs, you can always use the Xeno-Match on your headlights to whiten the output.

Not only do they ship free to canada, they have a canadian office, so NO BORDER FEES!!!!

their H1's fit into projectors without modification, but with a proviso....

I found that modifying them to fit them "better" gave me better lighting output.

PM me if you need more details.

Visionbulbs kits are top notch quality. Im very happy with them.

Found on page One of this thread.

I read thru all 10 pages and didn't see an answer to the question I have. Right now I only have the stock housing, so a 9007 is what I need, but I plan on getting the Halo Projectors, which use the H1 bulb. If I order the 9007 kit will I be able to put the HIDs into the projectors when I order them, with different bulbs of course, or will I have to buy a new ballast and wiring.

You can modify the lights so they fit, I know of a few members that have done it.

Was anyone else charged a foreign fee on their credit card bill? I used my Citibank debit card and they charged me $12 on my $400. They told me its because the company is in Canada and their is a 3% fee. Are all credit cards like that?

cobalt8
05-01-2007, 03:13 AM
Yes, if your canadian, Credit cards charge 2-3% exchange rate on your purchases if made in any other currency. If your American, and the company is canadian, they will charge you the same coming back. Its not the company that charged you, but the credit card company.

Its standard on all credit cards.

Positive, just tap into the fuse box, I used the positive terminal on the fuse box, it actually will unbolt. The ground can be found behind the drivers side headlight, there is a bolt there that already has something grounded to it, just loosen it up and throw the new ground in.. tighten it back up and your good!

No. Just buy the H1 bulbs and they fit right into the projectors. You can't buy the bulbs that are for the stock headlight housing because they won't fit therefore you'd have to drill in and make some mods to the housing.

Will you have a perfect beam pattern with the H1s because HID bulbs are supposed to be longer or somethin? I think you still have to drill a lil but its supposed to be easy.

Nope. If you buy the H1's you don't need to drill at all. The housings are made to fit the H1 bulbs. I did it myself and there is a perfect beam and no drilling was required.

You don't need any modifications at all. Just adjust the HID's so they are pointing more toward the front of the car, and also they need to be adjusted up. I had the same problem when I put mine in and all they need is adjusting. Let me know how it goes.

You need to adjust those two knobs on your headlight housing. Just drive around after each small adjustment and see where the lights hit the other cars.

Here, use this thread as it is a good how to:

they need to come up and as far as what the other guy is saying, they should come together in the middle more... i dont think thats a fair resolution though. The resolution is to make a small hole in the bulb housing so that the bulb sits better

well after reading all these pages im really confused on either ordering the 6k or 8k. After reading im told the 8k is about similiar to my stock 9007 bulbs but the 6k is alot brighter. I see one guy wrote that the 6k was too purplish to him so he wanted to go with the 8k. I do want some blue tint to it but i want my lights to be bright.

Should i go with the 6k or 8k kit. Somebody please clarify this up with me.
