How many miles do you get with a tank of gas ?

Please List mods (if u want to) and then list how many MILES you get to one tank of gas on average. i do a mix of city and highway and only get 200 miles to a tank with

Stage 2
GMPP Exhaust
AEM dryflow with k&N pipe.

My DIC says i should be getting like 250-275 on one tank but it doesnt even come close.

Yeah, when I gas up I always reset everything, and the DIC always says 256mi left.

Depending how I drive, I'll get about 175--210. I do lots of city driving so its harder for me to get a lot out of it.

That is still better than my old 2.2 cavalier though. I used to get about 225mi AT BEST out of a 14 gallon tank. Our is what, 12 gallons?

Overall its not bad. I think wed have to do all highway to ever touch that 256mi limit though.

Holy hell, normally I see over 300 to a tank, easily, usually it's around 320 to a tank, mix city/highway. That's with intake and exhaust.

With the damn watered down winter gas around here I'm only seeing about 285-290 per tank.

• Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
• Inspect fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or pinches
• Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail
• Check the fuel injectors
• Check for an exhaust leak before the first oxygen sensor
• Physically check all o2 Sensors and Catalytic Converter for damage.
• Replace all 4 Tires

Check tire pressure !!!

I was getting lower MPG too and since the cold weather hit I hadn't checked tire pressures ( too lazy and always on the go...) but when I did most were 3-5lbs low...Aired 'em up to 32psi and MPG in the DIC went up. Don't take much w/ low profile tires to make a huge difference, the TBSS's tires were only low by 2 pounds and she lost .7 MPG...went from14.5 to 13.8-13.9MPG, so check tire pressure first...

Mods in sig.. I normally get about 190-220 miles before I have to fill up.

I have to jack up the front end and check my air filter to check my air filter, and when the snow melts I have to get the air compressor and check the PSI.

catback
xtc dp/hi flow cat
airbox mod w/k&n

when i fill up my DIC says about 300 miles, but i normally get anywhere from 260 to over 300 depending on how i'm driving. Avg. MPG is usually between 26-28 for mixed driving conditions.

holy hell 190-220??? i would def. say that you may need that tune! lol i need to check my filter soon too. But i heard that the gas stations goto a winter blend when it gets colder out. and are you a "spirited" driver? I am pretty heavy on the pedal especially at stop signs. i usually get 210-230 in this weather and 270-300 in anything above 50* weather. Im hoping that when i get my tune and crap installed the MPG will get better when i dont floor it.

Yea, I'm a "spirited" driver. I enjoy the sound of the engine whining and the exhaust waking up elderly people.

I have the stage II kit on my 06 SS/SC and I get about 270 miles/tankful. Most of it is city driving. Some of the driving is aggressive with high RPMs, but for routine commuting, I shift very early, drive smooth, maintain momentum and try to time the lights. That way, I make up for those fun 7k shifts from 2nd to 3rd on freeway on ramps.
