I couldnt tell you what color it comes with to begin with. I dont manufacture the parts.

LED lighting isnt really a pure option per say, however: Light Blue lighting/Neutral lighting is a option.

However, I am looking into a "LED" upgrade which will be available to anyone who has these gauges or the stock ones.

2 questions: Do they come for the SS with the 160mph reading? and Are there any instructions available for installation??
I would be interested depending on how in depth the install is.

yes they come for the SS with the 160mph...

and yes there is instructions....

Its really not hard to install these, its not really a gauge overlay, it actualy replaces the entire gauge face panel.

if you have any questions call my 800 # @ (800) 676 - 0769

thanks for the info. i would go with the blue option i think. do all the orders have to be identical?

in order for myself (TNT) to get a discount, id have to order 15 sets of identical (same design, same color, same logo, same everything) in order to get a discount.

I am doing this as a personal discount to you.

So No, they do NOT have to be identical.

If you want a instant answer, itd be beneficial to call the 800 # (10am - 11pm 7 days a week CST)

do all of the lights and what not still display?

Yes they do.

Damn ! Now you are tempting me. I just need to wait a bit to see about shipping to canada and installing. I'm too lazy to reconfigure the indicators :)

TCarter
02-26-2007, 10:13 PM
Shipping is normaly $12.50 due to its tenderness and how fragile, HOWEVER, you can opt for the $8 shipping, but if it breaks, cracks, etc it WILL NOT/CANNOT be warrantied.

Shipping to Canada will not be a problem.

I apologize about the shipping, but this is simply the lowest I can do with the insurance, and the fact its being shipped out of the US.

No it's not that hard, I'm just lazy and have zero patience. Best thing to do before installing these, fill your car to the max, you can take a picture remove everything etc.. there's a how-to I think..

After you have to start , stop, replace, start stop replace until everything is where it should be. I just don't have the patience for it since I know myself a bit to well.

You don't have to apologize for shipping. It's quite cheap if you ask me for something that fragile.

takes about 3min.

hey it shows the 2.2L gauge as glowing white at night, just to clear up any difficulties, you said i can get the 2.2L (0-120 with a dark blue backround) to glow blue at night, right?

if its anything like my 03 silverado, it takes 20 minutes with snapping off the trim peices, unscrewing the back screws, unclipping the fron cover of the cluster. the taking odd the needles and pulling off the face, putting the new face on and put the needles back on TO THERE EXACT READINGS, then put it all back together.

Yes You can, those are the only 2 pictures available for "night shots". But they are carried over to any of the gauges.

The needle relearn process only takes a few min, I forget what you do, but the needles learn themselves. they scan to the max, then drop back to 0 to "learn".

Im pretty sure there is instructions included, if not I will find out the process, and include them in the shipments

FYI I followed the old thread for a while my decision for not getting them is having to tear apart the casing they are in & having to recalibrate the gauges!

biniecki
02-27-2007, 12:22 AM
tearing apart is a mater of several screws. The recalibrating is very simple. I don't remember the procedure exactly but it was something like keep the needles off and plug the guages into the car and then just turn the key to the accessory position and then back off, then put the needles on and repeat the same thing. Then put everything back together and your good to go.

TCarter
02-27-2007, 12:50 AM
Biniecki is correct. I do remember it didnt take long when I did it for a friend localy awhile back.

Took me 20min to get her done.

Tim what is the number of orders at so far? Also how is the discount going to work say someone orders now with like only a few other orders but then later on we have like 15 people order which results in a bigger discount? Is the difference just credited to the people that made the purchase at the higher price?

TCarter
02-27-2007, 03:38 PM
Bini, so far: 2 orders.

Those who paid full price now, but down the line we get more orders to recieve a discount, you will be refunded via paypal, or store credit will be given (dependent on your choice)

Ok - This is what I have calculated for myself.

Initial Cost - $75.00US = $88.30 CAN
Shipping - $12.50US = $15.04 CAN

Total = $87.50US = $102.83 CAN - Plus I will have to pay duties and taxes upon arrival here.

My question is for Canadians is there any other discount you can offer? The reason I ask is because I can buy these direct from BlackCat for $110.00CAN and not have duties and taxes to worry about in the future.

Also, I had something similar from Blackcat for my Z24 and you have to take your cluster apart, take the needles off and take the gauge overlay off then put this one back on. Very nice I might add.

TCarter
03-02-2007, 06:19 PM
farfrm, these are shipped directly from Black Cat, so you can spend the extra $7 can and buy from them, or you can save $7 can and buy from me since they ARE shipped from them.

I have a question. On the LS Sport and SS/NA the gauges are 140MPH speedo.
My question is because the LS Sport has 16" tires they get a 140 marker, can I possibly swap out my 120 speedo (base model) for a 140? I have 17" rims w/ tires now. If I can I'm interested in this GB.

ok - from the posting it sounded like they were shipped from you guys cause you said you would ship once they were in and that your shipping was $12.50US. Thanks for the info! Also, I own a G5 so this may only be an option for me through Blackcat. I have been talking with Alex and he has been pretty good to me so far. Thanks TNT fpr being so honest.

Heres the thing, if your stock speedo says: 120mph...you got to get the 120mph gauge, otherwise it wont match up. Itd be saying your going faster than what you really are.

Think of these as gauge overlays...
