Congrats LSJ PUP 02-25-2007, 10:13 PM http://cobaltss.net/gallery/files/6/3/6/0/30.jpg No other mods on the car? NightriderCobaltSS 02-25-2007, 10:14 PM Damn those are pretty good numbers. Congrats Look at the A/F for the most part a strait line No other mods on the car? K&N with AEM filter GMPP exhaust with manifold 2K5SS/SC? 02-25-2007, 10:16 PM Nice numbers! That A/F ratio is straight as an arrow too! NightriderCobaltSS 02-25-2007, 10:23 PM i love how fast it is and it was simple i had Stage 2 and all that needed reaplce was the injectors and swap the pulley didnt have to remove the charger Ghalterman_usmc 02-25-2007, 10:29 PM How did you do the Tag tune. Did you send your PCM to them?? How long did it take? or did you order a new PCM from them and sent yours back? Did you need to do anyhting else besides put it in the car? Did you have to take it to your dealer? OniMirage 02-25-2007, 10:31 PM hmm the torque seems really low and the hp seems just lower than what one would expect with those kinda mods ... very conservative tune im guessing NightriderCobaltSS 02-25-2007, 10:33 PM How did you do the Tag tune. Did you send your PCM to them?? How long did it take? or did you order a new PCM from them and sent yours back? Did you need to do anyhting else besides put it in the car? Did you have to take it to your dealer? I have HP tuners so Jim sent me the tunes and when they did an update to the tune Mel sent them to me. A few friends (mostly SSROMER) and i took about 45 mins to an hour. and nope no dealer with he tune update didnt need a case relearn. hmm the torque seems really low and the hp seems just lower than what one would expect with those kinda mods ... very conservative tune im guessing They told me they are not in the game of blowing up people cars they provide safe fast tunes. it still fast as hell OniMirage 02-25-2007, 10:37 PM I have HP tuners so Jim sent me the tunes and when they did an update to the tune Mel sent them to me. They told me they are not in the game of blowing up people cars they provide safe fast tunes. it still fast as hell i understand but ct was putting out those kinda numbers with less intense mods ... basically intake and stage 2 and now he has full exhaust, dp and header plus a 2.9" and gm's revised tune so im guessing with his mods he is putting out more power than you ... with 42's. just seems that with 60's they could have given you more and stayed well within safety lines NightriderCobaltSS 02-25-2007, 10:41 PM i understand but ct was putting out those kinda numbers with less intense mods ... basically intake and stage 2 and now he has full exhaust, dp and header plus a 2.9" and gm's revised tune so im guessing with his mods he is putting out more power than you ... with 42's. just seems that with 60's they could have given you more and stayed well within safety lines point taken but this car was dynoed hot i had just driven about a half hour before it was dynoed and a fews days later TAG sent me an updated tune. i havent goten dynoed since the updated tune OniMirage 02-25-2007, 10:42 PM point taken but this car was dynoed hot i had just driven about a half hour before it was dynoed and a fews days later TAG sent me an updated tune. i havent goten dynoed since the updated tune ahhh well keep us updated. I hope your into 260hp with at least 245ish torque Blown 4-banger 02-25-2007, 10:58 PM Yeah, those are like Stage 2 numbers! p7x 02-25-2007, 11:02 PM Damn those are pretty good numbers. Congrats actually i think those are kinda dissappointing. You should be in the 250-260 area but every dynos diff. That updated tune should help distillion 02-26-2007, 08:23 AM those are not bad numbers. remember gm stage kits get anywhere from 235-240 witha 3 inch pulley and from what ive seen with other canned tunes, most people are running like ass, blowing up or just end up spending more money for a custom retune. tag keeps a nice safe zone while making more power than the stage kits and being reliable at the same time at a competitive price. Plus comparing dyno numbers is kinda useless imo. PlaysWitCars 02-26-2007, 09:30 AM so there is an updated tune from tag?? Ive been trying to get my car to idle right when it comes to a stop. It keeps wanting to stall. Ive increase the short pulse adder up a little bit which helped it a little...but it still wants to stall a few times. PM sent Doc 02-26-2007, 09:44 AM There is something you can try for the idle, I replied in the thread. I believe it was started by Witt. If you want, shoot me your email addy. Sales@Tagracecraft 02-26-2007, 07:22 PM Every dyno is different. On our dyno a stage 2 makes 235WHP and 220TQ. This dyno looks close to what we dyno with the TAG GM Stage 3. One tuner feels the other shoulda, coulda... etc. He says the AFR was a steady 10.5 ish. and he tried to lean it a tad, but the car didnt like it. he anded up removing timing as i mentioned above. I had only driven it a tank since the tag stage 3 went in, but i can feel less power today. who else had dynos done, and were any on a stang dyno? firestorm 04-18-2007, 05:19 PM bueller??? bueller??? |
