This older guy in a mustang really wanted to race for some reason, so of course, after he taunted me between 2 lights, i whipped out the phone to get some video!!!

You will see in the video that he didnt wanna squeel his tires so its an easy start for us both.

You cant hear his car that great(camera phone), but he was definitely full throttle all the way to redline. i toy with him at first and then you will see when i finally lay it on him... haha!

not saying your a liar but it doesn't even look like hes trying to race, haha. Although I'm not doubting you because my friend has a v6 stang like that and theres no chance in hell he can keep up, especially from a roll.

 

I raced one at the track last weekend. I had a shitty start with a 1 second reaction time, but I caught him by the 60' mark and beat him by around 15 lengths. I ran a 14.5 and he ran a 16.1. They are slow fake mustangs.

 

c0ld29 ---i thought the same thing when he first started messing with me, figured he just accelerated rather quickly. he was about a car back at the light(kinda weird) and then when it turned green, he took off like a bat outta hell. i kept up just to see what he would do and all i could hear was his engine roaring has he pushed it up to the limiter to not let me beat him. a car pulled out ahead so we both chilled out until we got to the light where the vid was taken. haha he had a bike rack on the back too!!!

 

haha like I said I don't doubt you, compared to our cars they just dont stand a chance stock, my friend is actually going to twin turbo his stang and change out a bunch of crap JUST to try and beat me, and I'm stock so far. I can't wait til' summer when I start doing performance upgrades. He knows I'm upgrading starting in June so hes trying to hurry it up lol

 

Looks like you completely dusted him. The V6's are no slouch, but they definitely aren't 1/4 mile monsters.

 

That car sucks. There is a guy at work with a 07 V6 thats been wanting to race me. We had a meeting last night and I finally raced him. He told me that he would stay with me or stay a car back. We went 4 times. Twice from a roll and twice from a dig. From a 35mph roll I killed him by probably 8 cars by 90. From a dig, the only time his hood was infront of mine was the first 15 feet. After that it was all over just as before. I knew it would be rape from the start but I just wanted to share how bad a SS/SC is outta the leauge of a V6 mustang.

 

I think we should stop refuring to them as V6 mustangs and start calling them donkeys. IDK just a sugestion. I figure that they are slow and dumb for thinking they could beat a SS/SC. NOT A CHANCE

and in response to the topic of turbo stangs, there is actually one that i spot at walmart all the time that looks completely stock except for his polished v6 wheels and the sticker on the side of the hood scoop that says "4.3L turbo". its actually a pretty clean, white stang with duals coming out the back. the inside is decked out with a boost gauge and all so i dont doubt he has it turboed. i bet its a beast.

there is also one in the town i go to school, that is a complete sleeper. it looks just like a stock V6 stang except for the fact that it has a V8 in it. It sounds like a mustang V8 so i think its a GT made to look like a V6. it still has the GT rear bumper on it.
