This info can be found in the "How To" section. I know what your thinking, "o my God, I can find how to remove my door panels in the "How To" section. I would have never thought of that either.

First thing you do is do a search. Its that little button on the upper right that says "search"

If you can't find it, maybe you should not be taking your car apart.

Just messing with you a little.

Just take pliers, or a crowbar, and wench it off. :-)

I can't find the linkage for the How-To but I know there is one or two around here.

Good luck.

there is a clip that locks the handle on and theres 2 philips screws one under the handel ant the other is under the cup that u use 2 close the door then you need to pop off the cover of the mirror above the door panel be eazy with it start at the top. after thats done use a puddy knife and slide it under the bottom of the door panel and pull it away from the door its self when the bottom is loose lift the panel off the top of the door then hold the panel and lift the black clip on the door handel and there you go its off just remember to conect the door handel first when puting it back to gether i hope ths helped you

You need a tool like this to remove the clips that hold the window crank on. They are usually cheap, depending on where you get it from.

He is correct. I manage a collision center. Without that tool, it is almost impossible to do it. Why are you trying to pull the trim panels off anyway?

If you want more specific you need to read.....

this can be found in the "HOW TO" section as I have already said.

Thread Title
How-To remove door panels

Tools needed:
Pocket flathead screwdriver
Philips head screwdriver(or drill bit+drill)
Door panel tool (Easily purchased for a few bucks at Autozone/PepBoys)

1.) Using your small flatehead screwdriver, remove the plastic covers from A-behind the Chrome handle, B-inside the compartment on the armrest behind the switches. Doing this will reveal three(3) screws.

2.) Using your Philips head screwdriver/bit, remove the aforementioned three(3) screws.

3.)Using your door panel tool, CAREFULLY lift the silver switch panel up, STARTING with the side to the rear of the door(back of the car). This is held by a clip, not to hard to pry up. The reason you want to start at this point is because the front of the panel is a clip the slides under the lip, so you don't want to break it. Unplug switches.

3.) Beginning at the lower left corner of the door panel, use your panel tool to CAREFULLY pry the panel off the body. If you do this correctly, you will hear a POP, this is one of the many pins popping out of it's housing, it's a good thing. Continue CAREFULLY around the perimeter of the door until all are released.

4.) CAREFULLY pop the tweeter pod from the frame, but DO NOT try to remove it from the door panel. It does not come off, just unplug the tweeter and you'll be fine.

5.) Lift the door panel until it comes free.

6.) Reach behind the panel from the top, and lift up on the black plastic clip that holds the wire to the door handle. It should lift up easily.

Door panel has been successfully removed. I cannot stress to you enough to be careful when doing this. Replacing door parts is not cheap, and this is no exception. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful!!!!!!!

Once you have done what you want to do, reverse the above steps, with a couple of twists.

Twist 1.) Door handle wire: Place the silver "bracket" at the end of the wire into the small hole on the bottom of the black housing. Once you clip it in from the bottom, it will make the re-attachment of the wire to the door handle much much easier.

Twist 2.)Lower the window all the way into the door before placing the panel back on, it makes doing so much easier as well.

you don't really need that tool. The trick with the rag works. Just get a rag and take the edge of it and lay it in the crease (spelling) along the top. And from there take the corner, either one, and pull it around as if you were circling the handle. the clip should drop off. if it doesn't work the first time keep trying. A big key is to find the end of the clip. It's like a U shaped clip. If you get a light and push on the door panel, turn the hand on the window until you can see the top U part of the clip.
