I had those and they spin like hell after a month, well its hard not to get tires that do not spin much except DR's but I have BFGoodrich KDW's now 225/40/r18 and they dont spin as bad as the Kumhos. And they look sweeeet!

I second that. My KDWS are great, far superior to the crappy pirellis. I will be replacing my 225/40s with 235/40s in about a month, and i'm gonna go back with the KDW again. They make a little noise, but the grip is outstanding, and only $160 each.

I am thinking of switching mine to the goodyear eagle f-1 tires, but I am still on stock (starting to notice some spin and slip, 6K miles on the tires)

Im sold on the KDW's when it comes time to replace my stockers.
My question is, Canadian owners....have any of you found a good place to get rubber for our cars?

Kal-tire gave me a wonderful quote on a set of BFG KDWs of $1800

After informing him that I could probably get 2 sets shipped to my door for that....he didnt really know what to say....

so....which companys have a clue in

No matter what up here you are probably look at $1500 for BFG's!
Every kid wants them cause there awsome so the charge up the ass!
Through my work at trade cost they wanted $325 a tire
I got the Dunlop Direzza's for $1000 all in, probably could find them a little cheaper.
But I can pay them off in instalments through my work.
Being in Canada sucks for car parts, tire rack doesn't ship to Canada.
Discount tire does but the prices aren't as good and we get raped on duty!!!
So bottom line really is unless you gots the hook up for rubber,
be prepared to belly up to the bar and bend over cause they are gonna give it to ya!

Toyo T1R's here! They are freaking awesome compared to the crappy Pirelli's in the rain, dry, and the track!

Those KDW's are about 50 bucks cheaper than the Eagle F1's, so thats a strike in their favor, are they really as good as everyone says?

i have had the goodyear eagle f1 tires on my old neon rt...car literally jumps off the line when u launch it(must have motor-mounts)reccomended them to some of my buddys that drive cobra's and they have told me that they are the best tires for those cars..the 480+hp(crank) is alot of power that is bein pushed to them tires, and they wont loosen up until they have been severally beat ..i recommend them..they suck in winter..ull kill ur self when winter time comes and ur using them

I have a set of Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S on now...I needed better winter traction. Sometime this summer I hope to get a set of KDW 2s

Will KDW2s 225/45/18, 235/40/18, and 225/40/18 all fit the stock wheels?

Well, living in dallas texas, I dont need to worry so much about winter. We usually only get one or two snow/ice storms a year, if even that. This year was a total freak of nature for us.
