Cold Air Intake
Cold Air Intake
Ok so there's:
Injen
AEM
K&N
All about the same price. I heard people are having problems with the Injen...How about the ones who use the other two? Any problems?
What would be the better choice? They all seem pretty identical to me...

Dude, not to be a jerk, but use teh search button. this ahs been discussed NUMEROUS times. And, there are mor eintakes than just those three. There is a sticky thread about what is avaliable and recently had a trhead discuss some of them.
I have a CEL every now and then from my AEM, but you can't beat the dryflow aspect of the filter. You have to be careful with the K&N because if you over-oil it, it could mess with your MAF.
Injen has had some fitment issues. I would rather be a little lean than have a hole in the top of my intake tubing.

I don't know what model Cobalt you have, but to my knowledge only SS/SC's have had any fitment issues. I've had my Injen intake on for about a month, in SRI form, and I love it. No fitment issues, no CEL's, no nothing. Any intake is good, they all produce about the same amount of HP. The only major advantage of the Injen is that it can be either a CAI or SRI depending on how you feel. Just make up your mind and purchase any intake, you'll be glad you did. And next time, please use the search function before posting.
Little tip, if you get the injen. Follow their instructions, and remove the front bumper. Makes it a lot easier to make sure you have it fit right. Even with removing the bumper on mine, it took only about an hour and a half.
Injen: Fitament issues, oiled filter.
K&N: Oiled filter
AEM: Not a full intake
Fujita: Fitament issues. Oiled filter
Thats basically being really picky about each system
I recently decided on my setup. K&N with an AEM Dryflow filter. and a hydroshield.
No fitament issues. No cels due to oil. and piece of mind against water.
