hey guys just a heads up...i purchased a set of rims and tires from GOT BOOST? last week and havent gotten a pm,confirmation e-mail,tracking number etc. from him as of yet... when i first had interest in them he was messaging me right away and always answered back to any of the questions i had for him. as soon as i sent payment i havent heard from him since and hes not answering any of his pm's im sending to him..another member on this forum is having the same problem as i am and we both had to send in claims to pay pal to try and get our money back...if anybody has any info on him please post it or send pm as i want to get to the bottom of this. i just sold my car and i promised the buyer that i would get him these rims and tires and now im in a rut scrambling to get another set for him to keep him happy.

guys i have done business with him. however, i was lucky enough to have my uncle just pick the stuff up personally and pay him with a check. he told me he is new to paypal, but your right he should be getting back to you. see if you can call the guy

 

i tried calling him through a number i saw him post on a thread and an answering machine keeps picking up and its in a different language, and also the money was taken out of my account and in his account now. hes also not even responding to a single pm i send him at all.

 

That is not good for everyone. I have a hard time trusting people when buying stuff online. So far I had all good sellers, thats when you stick with them the most you can for future purchases... sorry to here that man

I hope you get your money man...I am starting to get weary of buying stuff off of forums. The last forum I was on I got jipped a couple of times....

 

i know he hasnt been on since march 1st i checked that out, i payed a few days before that, and since i payed he didnt respond to anything at all.

 

I'll say this, he may have shipped the wheels and they might be in customs right now. I don't think anything sent into Canada moves real quick.
He hasn't checked the forums since Last Activity: 03-01-2007 04:05 PM so there might be a number of things going on that he can't control.
I don't know the guy, but give it some time and then make a case.

hes still got my e-mail though and i told him to keep in touch, i literally didnt hear a word from him as soon as the payment went through.

 

I am in the same boat he received my money of 2-22-07, still no communication and no product, i think 2 weeks is plenty of time lol. Anyways I have claim setup with paypal to get the money. I guess we will see what happens with it

 

another odd thing is that his profile says hes from el paso, CO. when i know for a fact he is in el paso, TX

 

i agree, we should team up with our claims and sent proof to paypal. theres a section that askes if you are suspicious or have proof of this person being frodulant. if we both give eachother as proof we should be able to convince them that we ligitimately got scammed.

i pretty much know everything about this guy, and yes he is in el paso texas and i know more or less where he hangs out, i also have his licence plate number and where he got his cobalt from. maybe i should get in touch with his local police department and see what they can do?
