well i have my gmpp exhaust and i finally got the tip on it 2 months later lol. anywho its on now but i notice its a little to low and id like it to be more tucked under the fender making it look better. does ANYONE know how i may be able to reposition it making it fit closer to the bumper???


again anyone please comment. and if you can tell me how i can do it thank you.

The GMPP exhaust is a little low on the Base 'balts because it fits (was designed for) the body package of the SSs. You will either have to get a body kit or have someone cut and reweld the hangers at the end of the exhaust to "tuck-it-up". One of these days I intend to get mine cut and rewelded -- just haven't gotten around to it

 

dang it. that sucks. o well then. i will figure out my own way if there isnt a way yet. but im gona let it get warmer out first. lol.

 

Don't try to bend the hangers -- they're tuff, and you'll most likely crack a weld trying. Then again you could always use it as an excuse for having to get it rewelded to a better position

 

hey just wondering do you know if the SS/SC downpipe is bigger then the LS? and same goes for the intake manifold. cause well i plan on going a procharger hopefully if i can. and i want a good exhaust. so im bouncing the idea or SS/SC downpipe or not.

 

if you're getting a centrifugal blower the SS/SC intake manifold is not going to work because their blower sits on top of the manifold...whereas a centrifugal blower does not.
