Fujita Intake. Good deal?

I know some people hate e-bay, but this seems like a pretty good price compared to what i've seen.

Good deal, go for it? -or- E-bay sucks/Fujita sucks, don't get it?

Go for it.

But shop at your own risk on e-Bay.

i offered him 200 a few days back and he counter-offered 215, so you can get it at least to 215

in all honesty, comparing HP numbers for intakes is bullshit.
you can go to the dyno right now and make 1 pull at 220hp.
and the very next pull could be 238, or it might be 204

so how in the world can you define a HP number for a part that only really gives around 10hp
tell me how you can definitively say that the Fujita's 12hp gain makes it a way better intake than K&N with 8hp, or Injen with 10hp, or whatever.

buy an intake that you like the look of. and that will give you the least amount of trouble.
buying it by comparing HP numbers is naive.

an0malous is loving that word naive today.

And he's right. You would see just as much gain from the airbox mod as you would from any of the intakes on any given day. The key is the filter flow and getting it out to the air instead of closed in an airbox like the factory has it.

I have one and I like it alot.
Down-side to it... People will always bitch at you for spending alot on it. But sounds like you've got that covered already.
Up-side to it... 3"!!! Are you kidding me? Thats room for some air!

i just got mine from that seller last week. very quick shippment. I approve of that seller. The sound of that intake almost makes you forget how bad it fits.

Amen to that!!! ^
You can cut off the lowest part and get a 3" opening filter to make it fit better.

And you can set up a fix for that easliy. I would only use the Fuj or the injen intakes on my SS/Sc.

There used to be an awsome "how to" on this but I can't find it anymore.

I love how everyone says they would only use this and that! But they always have to modify it or get new tubes because of fitment issues! My K&N fit perfectly the first time, 1 piece tube, and you know what it was less than 190.00 shipped! Sounds great, looks good, and NO C.E.L.'s!!!
