My new toys are here!!

I know they arent much and most people have the shifter already but Im still excited. My Hurst short throw and Turbo Tech Racing poly mount came today. Very big shout out to TTR for the beautiful piece of artwork they made. Here ya go:

good lookin stuff.

the only thing that bothers me, is every pic i see where companys advertise the hurst shifter its a beautiful shiny polished metal.
and every pic i see of people that buy them, they get a dark gunmetal looking ***.

boo i want the shifter thats in all the pics

yeah i know, I didnt get that either whent they first came out. But for me id rather it be dark with my orange ss.

Ok I have to ask because I haven't been able to find an answer on this anywhere. Is the shifter itself (not the throws between gears) shorter than the stock or the same length.

I have seen a how-to where you can use the stock knob on the B&M also, anyway to do this on the Hurst?

the hurst is hot..... i threw mine in a few weeks ago, then took her out..... its pretty solid, and nice and heavy, i like to have the feeling of a little meat on the shifter, rather then our flimsy stocker.....

I already submitted one last night, just waiting now. But its easy that you wouldnt even need a how to. the instructions with it are great.
