production number

i just got off the phone with chevy and they told me that my old car. the one i smashed into a wall was production number 16 of the 2007 SS/SC

I find it funny that they know that because i went back and forth with them in november trying to get #'s for the 06's for the SS/SC and they couldnt turn up anything.

its somewhere in the vin # call chevy and they will tell you when you read it to them

It is the last 6 digits of the VIN. That will tell you what number in line you were. The number can get rather high though.

So do the last 6 digits start over every year?...cuz i have an 2007 Balt and my last six start in the 17,000+
