Just wanting to see if anyone would be interested in going to Ennis on Saturday March 24th. 1/4 mile track, so you'll really be able to see what your car can do. Currently we may have a couple of Cobalt SS and a couple of GTOs and maybe a C6 Vette. We're trying to gauge interest before making it official. If enough people are interested we'll def get something started. Post up here if you are interested. Ennis is about 1-2 hours maybe from DFW btw.

hmm i will probably have to pass... my gaskets, bolts, washers and what not should be here next week and hopefully i can get my header/downpipe installed on sunday.. i'd rather wait until they are installed to go to the track

 

Have you done any baseline runs? If not, I'd suggest getting some in, whether its 1/4 or 1/8th mile. At least you'll have an idea of what gains you'll get with the bolt-ons. I wish I had done a baseline Dyno before slapping on my CAI kit. I'm still considering slapping on the stock air kit just because something doesn't seem right with my current HP numbers.

 

I'm always down for some 1/4 mile action.

Hey Robert, I think we are going to push this to the first weekend of March. Even if Billy's dad (the vette I want to run) doesn't go I was we go then. It looks like rain this weekend and there is a car show in flowermound I think we are going to head to. So lets start talks for April 6 or 7th, sound good to anyone? I want to get in a few runs at the 1/4 before it gets too warm. This will fall before the Nascar race, it is the following weekend FYI. Also my exhaust will be done then I hope! :-)

I plan on going to Ennis April 6. They have free nitrous (while supply lasts) for those running it. I'm going to see what a CA header and AEM intake can do for my 2.4.

 

Ya, looking at their website it might have to be that night of the 6th. Nothing is shown for saturday. Are they always running that day? Tyler

 

Well their schedule says they have Steet Legal Night once a month and this thing called Fast Friday once a month as well. Don't know if anyone can race FF, it says it's for High School's but I'm sure they will extend it to regular guys.
