Whats this do

The bottom most setting on the signal /light control.
It seems to be momentary but never noticed any thing happening when I flick it.
I know RTFM but just reading post and wondering if any one knows.

i think i know what you're talking about, that will just turn the auto lights on or off...at night you'll see your headlights go off and in the DIC it will say "auto lights off"...flick it again to turn them back on

it turns off all the lights... even the daytime running lights... click it down and they go off... until you turn the car off and back on again.

this will only work when you are stopped and the E brake is applied. because in canada we must have DRL's on all the time.

Ive tried it a bunch of times while driving and never noticed anything .Tried it Last night and it did come up with auto lights off but it was parked in the driveway with the e-brake on.
Funny had the car almost a year and didnt bother reading the manual on what it does.

As soon as you go to move the lights will turn back on. (drop the e-brake) Canadian law states we have to have em on while driving.

it will turn your headlights off at night though, even if you are moving. flick it down and the headlights or "autolights" will shut off as the dic indicates

There is a recall in Canada for sure that turns on the drl lights. I didn't go and get it done so mine don't work .Only one problem is the dash lights don't come on with the switch. The light sensor has to turn on the headlights so they work.
