A whole BUNCH of new things in one day

Well basically this is a teaser for the next 3 days. Saturday night will be an expensive end of the day for me. I decided if I was going to spend money I might as well do it all at once.

So far I have the intake mod and a custom exhaust.

Saturday morning I drive to TAG Racecraft so Mel can install the stage 1 and do a full custom tune. On my way home I am stopping at my friends garage to install my SSC lowering springs. Also will be installing the ingalls Torque Damper as long as it ships tomorrow. Should help a little with the wheel hop along with the new wheels and tires that will be mounted to the car on saturday evening.

Well thats the teaser and I will post up the pictures of what went on along with hopefully a vid or 2 of the dyno run and also the dyno charts.

Let me know what you guys think of the things happening, and also what you think after the numbers and pictures.

Well I guess I could have gone bigger, but for one day that is a lot of money to sink. Im sure my next go round will be worse.

Thanks guys
Jake

good stuff. Be careful tho, when I plan on doing too many things in one day to my car I end up mad because you never really have enough time since there is always unforseen events.

I will be keeping everyone updated. I actually just emailed Mel to see if we can sub in the smallest pulley he has without machining the snout so we can try and squeeze a few more hp and ft lbs out of it. I can't wait. Thanks for the good input guys

BOOSSTED -- 2006 Cobalt SS/SC Dyno'd at Tag Racecraft

Ok ladies and gents. Here is the finished look. Ill be taking better pics tomorrow, but this will get you for now.

Also check out the Dyno, Mel at Tag said this is the highest stock dyno he has ever seen, also he basically said ignore the peak power, he hates peak power. Check out the gains across the board and also how nice the curves are. The car pulls like a beast now all through the power band. I love it.

The guys at Tag racecraft are incredible and I will tell you all to give them a visit. I will be buying more and tuning much more with them.

Well let me know what you think, there are the videos too.

Mike please tell the people at home why it was such a good day

Also I didnt make a ton of power, but Mel has his dyno set up very stingy(those are his words), and either way, my torque gains were huge for the little bit of money I put in and now auto cross will be insane.

for me we made it close to the gm stage 2, 2.79" pulley, 60 lb injects though, colder spark plugs. And one hell of a set of tuners. these guys took 16 runs until they were comfortable with the graphs. We did an oil change too just to have fresh oil and used the wideband. All runs were logged to make sure things were going well each time. And damn did my car scream in that little area where the dyno was. There are louder cars but when you basically sitting on the engine it gets pretty loud

ok well all the pictures we had are up as well as all the videos. Some videos look the same but they are all of different runs. Also streetfire has to approve some still so they might not load just this second.

Let me know guys and gals

love the power. It was good meeting you. Im already trying to figure out the money for the meth kit now, so youll see me again soon.

Those are MB wheels Five x. They came in 1 pound lighter then the stocks and they are 18 x 7.5.

It only took us about 1 hour from buffalo to get to Tag. Its not far at all and its right off the QEW
