Our intakes are ALMOST done. The final steps now are to get the welds on it for the sensor, and then have the entire piece chromed again. And to those who asked, we DO have red OR blue as of right now.

Once these are available, I'll have 16 in stock and ready to ship as soon as payments are sent. The people that signed up on the prior list (if still interested) will obviously have the first dibs. Pricing will be $199 plus shipping, so around $215 shipped.

They still need to be cut in a specific spot, but no. It will be a one-piece intake similar to the K&N design.

I can do that! I believe I've got 8 red, and 8 blue. Whoever wants specific colors (coming in order on the list) gets the first pick.

If these sell well enough, I might just order parts and get another 50 of 'em ready so I can always have them in stock

 

it seems like it would be very hard to install if it wasnt two pieces, then again i would really know, but i know it would be hard on my car

Naw man. After you get the stock airbox and everything out, you can just stick the end of the pipe (the side where the filter will attach to) through that hole, and slide it on down and over. Then, clamp on your filter, clamp it to the supercharger, attach your sensor, and crank it up!

Looks good but how much longer do you think it will take to get the red ones finished up. I am ready to pay just let me know.

 

Well, the red ones and blue ones will all be released at the same time. I should have these finished up within about two weeks I hope, but I can't say for sure. It's probably going to take about a week to finish the welds. Then, I need to send them off to get them chromed and wait for them to be shipped back (luckily, they're not too far away)...

Is this the intake that WILL NOT cause the Check Engine light to come on? I want one the doesn't cause it to come on.

That is why I am debating still. I ordered a high-flow filter to replace the stock filter. So i might order an intake for looks.
Frank - Is it possible to order just the piping? I already have a 3" conical filter on the way

 

The supercharger forces more air into the engine. However, this air can be "warm" and "tumbling" because of bends and the way the stock intake is built. The intake allows the air to flow smoother, quicker and cooler. This in turn allows the supercharger to force cooler air into the engine without much resistance. Cooler air has more oxygen which leads to a smoother and quicker detonation.

Sorry man, I can't really do that. I get a bulk discount by purchasing all of the pieces together. If I do that, I'll be left with one extra filter and no home for it
