Hey so when am I gonna start to see some ss/sc down at the pike. I have yet to see one since i got mine in early april. During the summer months me and my friends are down there every weekend almost. Let me know if anyone will be down there this upcoming weekend. Usually at BK or Taco Bell. Red cobalt ss/sc with very discintive dual exhaust.

Nothing crazy just follow these directions.

It attaches to your front and rear transmission mounts. The front mount is the one that
takes the bracket and the other one bolts right on to the rear (easy to tell you've got the
right bolts on the rear one as it's 3 in a triangle shape right by one another.) Go by the
photo.

Note: The engine does not need to be supported for installation of this Rear Brace.
1. Take out the 15mm bolt closest to the passenger side tire. Put the end of the brace with
the adjustments there.
2. Then put the bracket on the 19mm transmission bolt.
3. When you hook up the brace to the bracket make sure the bolt is at an angle, this will
pretension it a little. (17mm on both sides)

You don't have to go too crazy, it will end up very stiff with a lot of vibration. No wheel hop though. I only run an Ingalls right now. It works. I'm thinking about doing the lower torque brace too.

Holy shit, this kid was nuts. he was doing like 1000 foot wheelies at like 60mph,
and twice he stood up on the seat of his bike for like 600 feet when he was going like 50. and no im not exagerating.

wow so raced a black ss/sc tonight with stage 2 and K&N intake. fairly close race surprisingly, makes me more aware of the fact that i need my injectors and apexi neo to come in on monday maybe then i would have done alot better. by the way if you were at the pike tonight and saw a red cobalt ss/sc racing a black one that was me. wow im glad i didnt do a hordedous launch and just end up spinning till 3rd gear.

I saw a red one coming out of friendlys. And a red one turning onto main st. in Newington not far from the pike. I beeped like crazy and they beeped back. lol.

It's called the Berlin Turnpike in Newington and Berlin CT. It's a long strip that a lot of nice cars ride down on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm down to meet at the Burger King on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. Maybe Saturday night. Here is the info.

when i went there was a car on the dyno he said he would put me right on if he wasnt waiting for a part for the car on the dyno.

so he said come back tomorrow and i did i was in and out in like an hour or so.

i think i was the 1st SS/SC he has dyno'd he was blown away by the numbers concidering that its suppose to be 205 at the crank.

he said if i le him tune my car he could get me to 245 stock maybe a little higher just by fixing my A/F.:twothumbs

Hey boys and girls. Thought I'd give a shout out to all you guys before I leave tomorrow. Uncle Sam is givin me the chance to visit Japan, free, for six months. It'll let me bank some serious $$$ for pimpin the 'Balt when I get home. I'll be keepin tabs on whats going on over the net the whole time so no worries. I hope that we can have another drag day or big meet next spring. The ones this year have been great so far.

have fun in japan. so i got my car dynod yesterday at brystol dyno and was throughly depressed. only made 220 horse and 225 pounds of torque. was hopeing for closer to 280 with the list of mods. will be ordering hptuners shortly, mainly cause around 5800 rpm is when my air/fuel ratio goes from 11.7 which is rich enough to a retardedly rich 10 flat. so once i get hptuners 12.3 here i come or at least think thats what ill be running around. what are some people running anyone have any ideas. im also install an eletric cutout for my dual exhaust so that i can have it for looks and sound but then when i want to play have the single exhaust for the raw power.

Dude...dont go without the cat!!! I made that mistake too. Putting an aftermarket cat back on the downpipe will fix your a/f mix and get you more power in the mid-band (3000-4500). You may lose peak HP but thats not where you need it.

I went from 247hp and 217ft/lbs to 240hp and 215ft/lbs when i put the cat back on mine. all i have on the car is stg2; factory tune, the honed header, gmpp exhaust and the xtc downpipe (catless version) with a random technology hi-flow cat. the difference in the powerband was worth losing that peak power.

thats the thing i want power in the upperband. the biggest thing im gonna do first is get the hptuners. mainly cause i can clearly see that at 5800 rpm when the a/f ratio drops down to 10. this is the biggest problem right now. its getting way too much fuel. the dyno chart just drops and hard right at 5800 so ill tune it then see where to go from there

thats a definate possiblity, i just bought a k&n intake and did the air box mod 2 days ago actaully, only bc the injen is like $240+, but i can always return it. how much do you want for it?

Took out all the legal stock exhaust, emisions systems, and ac compotents last weekend. So now its just open headers. Ill prolly bring the balt down not sure yet. Wow that strut bar came in really fast. I had to wait weeks for mine cause i ordered it when it just came out for the cobalt and they were backordered like crazy. Way back in 05.

Yea, I work off of route 10 just south of the exit from 691, so i head toward 691 every morning off of route 42... if your go south then i pass you almost every morning as long as im on time haha. what color is your car. mine is yellow.
