Group Buy on Interceptor Gauges

Hey all, I know I'm not a Cobalt Driver, but the GF is. And I realize this may not be the section for this, but I live in Ontario, and though it best to post this here.

I have been talking with Aeroforce about a group buy possibility with the Aeroforce Interceptor Gauges.

I myself am getting the dual intercepter, where two are connected and work together, giving you four read outs instead of just two.

Anyways, the people at Aeroforce informed me, that if we purchase more then 5 units, we get a $30USD to $40USD discount.

For the single gauge, they are usually $239, and the dual is $399. If we get 5 or more, it's going to be $199, and $369 for the duals.

So, who is all interested? Their website says they take paypal, visa, or mastercard. I will ask them again how they would prefer us to pay. As in multiple payments, or one large payment.

So who's in?

Some info on the Cobalt Gauge:

This Interceptor gauge addresses the unique features of the supercharged Saturn Ion
Redline and Chevrolet Cobalt SS. The gauge will display boost, both primary (just past
the air intake filter) and secondary (just past the Intercooler) intake temperatures, knock
retard, engine coolant temp., ignition advance, supercharger inlet pressure,as well as a
host of others listed below. If you own one of these cars and care about its
performance, this information is invaluable, as well as unattainable in any other device
for under a couple thousand dollars. They also have a custom power up screen specific
to the vehicle. Like the standard Interceptor, these gauges are capable of displaying
the following parameters, two at a time, at a rate of approximately 20 times per second.

RPM
MPH
Intake Air Temperature pre intercooler
Intake Air Temperature post Intercooler *
Mass Air Flow Sensor Frequency *
Mass Air Flow Sensor (lb/min.)
Engine Coolant Temperature
Injector Pulse Width
Long Term Fuel Trim
Short Term Fuel Trim
O2 Sensor Voltage
Manifold Pressure in PSI (Boost pressure)
Supercharger Inlet Pressure *
Ignition Advance
Knock Retard *
Engine Run Time
Battery Voltage
Throttle Position Percentage
Engine Load
Instantaneous fuel economy
Horsepower
Analog input #1
Analog input #2

* Critical tuning parameters not found on most other scan tools for the Cobalt/Redline!

The Interceptor gauge is 52mm (2 1/16") in diameter and will fit in all standard gauge
pods of this size. A 5' cable is included with appropriate OBD2 connector. A splitter cable
is included with the dual Interceptor units. Gauges come with a standard black bezel or
optional anodized aluminum or chrome bezel. State bezel preference when ordering.

A function menu is available by pushing both buttons simultaneously. The first menu
option allows you to enter a record mode. Once selected, the Interceptor will return to
normal scan mode, but will start recording the displayed data automatically when the
throttle exceeds 50% and engine load exceeds 65%. Approximately 50-60 seconds of data
will be stored. Returning to the menu screen, you can choose to replay the stored data on
the Interceptor display.

Another menu option offers the ability to swap the foreground and backround colors of the
display (to be shown soon in the IMAGES section of this site). Using this feature, for
example, the gauge with a black backround and blue characters (negative image)
becomes a blue backround with black characters (positive image). Not only can this be
visually appealing but beneficial in changing lighting conditions. Positive images are
easier to read in bright sunlight, negative at night.

The Interceptor's scan rate can also be adjusted through a menu function.

DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) can be accessed and cleared via menu options. Click
here for a list of powertrain diagnostic trouble code explainations.

An integrated shift light, using high intensity LED's, can be programmed to light at any
desirable rpm point. Due to the gauges extremely fast update rate, this light is very
accurate and easy to set. Once you try it you'll find you can't live without it!

The Interceptor will measure 0-60 times, as well as 1/8 and 1/4 mile time and speeds.
This is accomplished through a simple menu selection. See if those mods really do work!

Finally the two analog inputs can be configured through menu choices. A linear conversion
can be entered so that an analog signal connected to the gauge can be read in appropriate
units. These inputs are handy for pressure signals such as those from MAP and oil
pressure sensors, analog outputs from Air/Fuel ratio kits, etc. These signal can then be
read and recorded along side the other parameters obtained on the vehicle's bus.

Installation is accomplished by simply plugging the supplied connector into the OBD2 port
below the steering wheel and connecting a separate included wire to a switched 12v
vehicle power source. Virtually plug-and-play!

Dual Interceptor Option: Two Interceptors can be purchased with a special splitter
cable that allows both gauges to operate simultaneously. A triple gauge set can be
purchased through special order.
