Lower Radiator Grille Cover
Lower Radiator Grille Cover
I am looking to buy a Lower Radiator Grille Cover (SS and SS s/c) - 15773841 for my 05/SS/SC. Is this the right part number to fit my car. How easy is it to install?
Do I call my dealer to purchase this part?

You can check these guys out. These grills are a little too flashy for me but may be what you are looking for.

On crateengine they're like 50$ + shipping and I'm not waiting :P. I rather get that grille on my car then to have my radiator fan be damaged by wind. That's also been known to happen just within 200 to 1000 miles the car starts on the road :P.
I put Canada as my delivery address, and it told me that it coudl not be sent?!?!?! Anyone knwo anything about this? I have been wondering about this grille for a while. I was told here that I shouldnt put one in...but if there is one made for it....i dont see why i couldnt!

The grilles on http://www.cloud-rider.com/screens_...hp?vhcl_id=3915 are ok, but something like that will be an add-on next spring. I will probably do an CAI and eibach springs next spring as well and I will look at the GM Phase 1 and 2.
I decided to get the grille and winter tires/rims so that I can make through the winter.
You can even get SS Emblems there! http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P1327C109.aspx

Well the parts guy was wrong. He ordered the lower grill for a base Cobalt. We have ordered the "right" one but it is almost twice the size and likely 3x the price. I guess I'll find out the beginning of next week.
Also I ordered SS badges for where the front bowtie is. I'm thinking of either removing the bowtie and putting on the SS badge or painting the bowtie red and placing the SS badge directly to the bowtie itself.

lower grille for SS S/C installed
received my lower grille piece for mine on Friday.
it's part # 15773841
the invoice says "List = $60" and they charged me $45
so with sales tax I paid $47.70 (still less than ordering from cratenginedepot.com once you factor in shipping)
It snapped in easily, just like the crateenginedepot.com site indicated it would.
It's not a "super tight fit" .. has a bit of room to move left/right but it stays in place fine overall and looks good.
