Photoshop Contest #8: Voting
Photoshop Contest #8: Voting

[Original Image]
Time for yet another Photoshop Contest. Only got a couple entries this week but its better than nothing. But the quality of the chops are great, so it should be a close race. But lets get things started.
And here's how it works...
- Cast your votes in a numbered list, going by the letter shown in the upper left hand corner of the picture.
- Highest on the list being 1st, lowest being last.
- Each first place vote will count for 3 points, second place for 2 points, and a 3rd place vote counts as 1 point. Any entries outside the top 3 will receive half a point.
- You don't have vote for an entry if you choose not to.
- You may only vote once, and you MAY NOT vote for yourself.
Ie...Your vote ballot should look something like this
1. C
2. F
3. A
4. B
2. F
3. A
4. B
Hope that sums everything up. Voting will be open until April 7th, 2007. So get those votes cast. Final results will be posted on April 8th, 2007.
Good luck to all.
The entries...

Please vote, it only takes a few seconds, and its greatly appreciated by the contestants.
People enter these contests at their own leisure. Many of times, people just don't have the time to make an entry. Some weeks we get a good turnout, sometimes we don't. I'm glad that we even got two entries. I appreciate that these two people took the time to do it.
Perhaps next week you could participate, seeings that you want to see more entries. I'd be glad to have you in the contest. That goes for anyone else. Don't be intimidated. Everyone has to start somewhere, and these contests are a great way to hone your skills.
The only problem is your past the entry deadlines, it wouldn't be fair to everyone else to allow voting on your picture.
This is the first you saw of this thread because it is the voting thread. Not the original contest thread.
For one week, there is the "Contest" thread, which gives you the base image. It remains up for a week, and this is the time you are to work on your chop. Then at the end of the week, once all entries are recieved via email, I create the "Voting" thread, which is what this thread is. The voting thread stays up for a week, and at the end of it, I tally the votes, and post a "Results" thread.
So its...
Contest (which basically announces this weeks contest, and gives you the base image)
Voting (where I post the entries I recieved via email, and people vote)
Results (where I tally the votes, post the final scores, and announce the winners)
If you want to compete in the next Photoshop Contest, the thread is below
Photoshop Contest #9: Sentra SE-R
The deadline to get your image in for the above contest is April 7th, and all rules and guidelines are outlined in that thread

I hope in the future this contests grow more popular. I know a lot of people are intimidated to compete, but don't be. You gotta be in it to win it, and these contests are a great way to hone your abilities at Photoshop

Almost forgot, my vote is...
1. A
2. B
