New to the Site

I just registered today. I met a Cobalt SS guy today when I was getting my AC recharged. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but he works at Firestone in Lewisville. Anyway, to make a long story short he was telling me that there really aren't any tuners around for the SS Cobalts. I have the Pro version of HPtuners and I am very practiced from tuning on Vet's, GTO's, and SS Trailblazers. Some of you guys around town might know me, I had the first Turbo charged TBSS anywhere. It was a custom kit I made from scratch. Anyway, I know there are probably sponsors on this site that do tuning and I am certainly not trying to take business away from them, but if local guys need some tuning help I am around. I know a lot of major tuners out there and have good relationships with the group I know. If I can do anything to help you guys out just shoot me a PM. I forgot to mention that I am extremely well know on the LSX sites for throttle body porting. I have ported and polished over 400 lsx throttle bodies over the last 4 years.

How bout cheaper than Fred Beans

Cheap enough that I could do the kit for $800 installed with CUSTOM tuning. Not just the GM Stage 2 Tune file.

Man, I tried to get you on the LSJ scene a LONG TIME ago. You may have remembered me PMing you on porting the LSJ blower (don't recall a response). I know its different than porting the LSx, but these young guns are hungry for power adders. While we're on the subject, what's your price for porting the LS2's throttle body?

Welcome dude, umm... I might be wrong but you might wanna look at the rules for being a vendor before trying to sell things, just to cover yourself and not get banned.

But welcome none the less man!!

I really had no intention of coming on here and trying to sell something. I guess I got a little excited when I saw the potential for easy upgrades and the lack of tuning support. I emailed the mods and asked them not ot delete this thread and inquired about becoming a sponsor. Depending on the cost I will most likely become a sponsor. If I become a sponsor you guys will have to keep me busy What are folks charging to port blowers and throttle bodies? I read about a few folks having MAp sensor issues after porting the TB. Anyway guys I am glad to be here. I was looking last night and I am thinking about picking up an SS to drive daily. They are cheap and seem like fun little cars. My TBSS is kinda rough on gas sometimes, especially when I run into cars that think they are fast, I just can't keep my foot out of it.

Have a good one everyone. BTW, if you PM me it come straight to my blackberry. I just thought I would let you know I am here to help.

Damn good news man..Pick up an SS/SC so you can tinker with some ideas also..lol..Yeah, we don't have a whole lot of support for porting TB's which I would be really interested in. I also maybe interested in supercharger porting. ALWAYS welcome to new ideas especially if it's gonna help us smoke some Crustangs an Imports

I thought I responded and said that I hadn't done one of those blowers but I could port anything. I basicly stopped doing the Ls throttle bodies for now. I took a group buy of about 50 on another forum that took forever because people kept breaking and stealing my cores. I can still do it for local guys for $120 if you need it done. I would really need to look at one of the blowers to see what is involved to quote a price on porting one. if any of you locals have one you can bring by I can get a good idea of what it is going to take and qoute a price. I do remember being so burried in that group purchase that I didn't express much interest in finding my way over here. Sorry about that, just didn't want to start another project without finishing the one I was working on.
