Want new tires but what fits ?
Can ( 225 / 40 / 18 ) fit my stock rims ? Cobalt ss/sc 2005 stock 18s and will they be ok , dont want to be in any kind of danger my son rides in the car

You can use either 225/40/18 or 225/45/18. First one will show about you will be going about 1mph slower than speedometer shows, second will be about 1 mph faster. No rubbing or issues with either one.
