I there anybody out there?
just looking for a website that doesn't show 2.0l parts when you click on 2.4l. i'm sick of finding nothing but 2.0l parts. who wants only 205 hp WITH a supercharger anyway. you can take a stock 2.2 and give it 270 hp cheaper than buying the 2.0l anyway
Way to go with your very first post evar! You just opened yourself up to a good old fashioned flaming and its one you deserve too. I agree about what your saying with the 2.0 parts but the rest your on your own!
haha and the SS/NA is not that much cheaper than a SS/SC. I might be wrong, but preatty sure you cant make a SS/NA faster than a ss/sc for the little it cost from SS/NA to SS/SC. Plus there is very little available as far as the 2.4 motor goes at the moment, unfortunate, but true.
You CAN give the stock 2.2 270 HP for about what you would pay for a 2.0. Of course, that's only the price of the mods - the 2.2 would have to be free...
As for vendors not selling parts for the 2.4, except for engine mods almost all the aftermarket 2.0 parts fit the 2.4 (brakes, suspension, exhaust). for intakes, use 2.2. for Turbos, use the search feature. Both Alpine and Garrett have kits that are somewhat available/useable/complete. Not to mention someone just posted he bolted a 2.0 blower ona a 2.2 with no tuning and it's FINE! So read his post and give it a try (I'd rather not, myself - as the noob you're elected...).
Now, now, guys, he's right.

Hey, 'Lope, you're being AWFULLY nice to the Noob! Ya' think he has dents from being touched with 10 foot poles on other sites?
But seriously, there are FEW parts for the 2.4L, that's why I came up with the fuel injector upgrade, because it is well needed, and there is no aftermarket support for it. Most of what you do to it will have to be custom.
