slow is sometimes fast on the right Auto-X track.... more power is harder to control for some.
i ran the beginning of last season in a 150hp Neon R/T and was top 3 in my class...
Auto-X'ing is good for you, it will hone your skills... at least come down to track and say hello!!

How did you make out with Empire and the domed decals?

This is a polish car club. These guys are nuts. Very fun group of people. I autoX with them many times. These guys like to drift every corner so to beat them all you have to do is be smooth and consistent....since they take the scores of your best couple of runs and combine them.

good luck

Wow that is a lot of people. They are not the most orginized club. And just because someone signed up online that does not mean they will be there. You pay at the track. Get there early. Have fun. I would be there but we are going to be at Autobahn, in Joliet, IL....drifting. If you are in the area come out.

aahh okay...I though we were still talking about The Polish Club.

Autobahn will have Drift Day 14 there. They have a new go-cart track there and it should be sweet. Its $10 to spectate.

It is in the "pits" of the Route 66 Raceway (the dragstrip). It was a blast, we each got 5 runs (were supposed to get 6) and there were a total of 191 drivers!! I won't be able to make it to the 2nd event, but will definitely be able to make it to the 3rd. I got 10th out of 77 in open street tire, I think that I did pretty well. I told myself that I would run the whole season (5 out of 8 events) if I could finish in the top 10, looks like I need to keep that promise to myself.
