haha yea damn typos there 18x8s !! lolthey dont rub at all im a 2.4 so i dont have the same springs ur lower than me but i dont have almost 3 inches of a gap from fender to tire so if u go even lower u should be fine.

How wide should i go with the tires with these without rubbing?

06sscobalt do you have a side view of the car? Do the wheels stick out of the wheel well at at? Im just not sure if they will work when being lowered.

What's the full tire size (like 215/40-18)? You say 45, but your sig says 40 series.

These are pretty sharp, I plan on getting the black with the chrome lip. Tirerack says the 18 x 8.5s are only 21.5 lbs.

with the tires you can run the 215's fine as you can see on 06ss's car.. i would recommend doing at least a 225 though as the 215's are more for 7.5"wheels

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t22/Rickrola/lowering%20springs/IMG_0274.jpg?t=1188496411

the ideal width for this rim is 235. that is my next mod 235 40 18 kdw 2's

How wide should i go with the tires with these without rubbing?

this pic should help. It was before i was lowered
