Total surprise. I talked to the sales person on Saturday about my order that I placed in July, and it had not yet been accepted by Chevy for production. So, I figured that it would still be a while. Then today, he calls me at work saying that they got a SS\SC in, exactly like I wanted it, but with the smokers package.

So, I went down to see it for myself, and sure enough, there it was...a silver SS\SC with sunroof, side airbags, g85, and onstar. So, we canceled my order and I picked up that one instead. Only cost me $15 more because of the smokers package, but that's better than having to wait for who knows how long

Took it on a spin around the block, and did the paperwork. Pick it up tomorrow after it gets detailed, etc.

Only thing I want to do now is take off the wing and put on a spoiler, or nothing at all...and maybe wheel locks too.

 

you shoulda got the dealer to swap trunk lids with a base silver coupe , i saw 2 red base cavs in cali that had the tall ss/sc spoiler on them , 1 dealer wated 995.00 for it the other wanted 695.00 for it
