Well did you try searching the For sale posts? Its a good place to start and secondly check a local junk yard, but odds are slim still cuase the cars are so new yet!

What website did you find it on? I've got a friend looking for one, and I'm willing to give him mine (which has that stupid license plate thing), if I can find a replacement.

The one you have pictured/linked is the SS/SC front fascia -- you will need that one if you also want the lip. The SS/NA fascia is around $200 but does not have the slots for the lip. You will also need the brackets listed below:

SS/NA Fascia (12336074), SS/SC and SS/NA R+L brackets (15248110/15248111)

Ok, I have a SS 2.4L, 2006, so if I want to get the SS/SC lip, do I have to buy more than just this?

http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P1797C109.aspx

Or if I understand correctly, do I have to buy those bracket things? And if so, where do you get those and is it hard to install?

Thanks,
A.J.

If you have an SS/SC or SS/NA you already have the brackets (only LS/LT owners need the brackets). If you have an SS/NA and want the factory lip you probably need the SS/SC fascia as the SS/NA facia does not have the slots cut out for the lip. Brackets are easily installed and you get them at any dealer -- call CED if your local dealer won't sell the brackets to you at Trade. CED has the best price for the fascia and if you live close enough it would be worth it to buy it from them, unfortuneately the box it comes in is oversize and the shipping cost is so high that getting it from a local dealer is the only way you're going to get it at the lowest cost.

Sorry for any confusion, I didn't look to see what model you have.

Ok, I just want to make sure I have this straight now. On my SS/NA, all I need to do is buy the SS/SC fascia, http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P1797C109.aspx, then I can just install that w/o anything else?

Thanks again,
A.J.

Yes, the SS/SC fascia will go right on and you'll have all the attaching hardware -- just reuse your original Bolts, screws, fasteners, brackets, grille(s), and emblem. You'll just need paint and the SS/SC lip to fill in the slots.

Anyone know a place that sells the SS/NA front bumper without the lip, and about how much do they run? Also what all is needed to swap the SS/NA bumper onto a LS/LT?

Read post #22 of this thread:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...793#post967793

Trade cost for the SS/NA fascia is @$200. The shipping costs are high so it will be best to find a local dealer that will sell it to you for trade -- even if you could find a dealer that would sell it to you cheaper you will find the shipping cost will negate any savings (I tried it already). the brackets are @$52 each and you will need them.

$400 for factory parts that fit or $400 for aftermarket parts that almost fit

Why pay that much to make your car look like another Cobalt when you can pay that much to make it look DIFFERENT?

Granted the stock SS kits look VERY nice, IMO I wouldn't pay that much just to look like everyone else.

Again, that's just MY opinion. No harm to anyone else...even I thought about getting that front bumper.
Is Crate Engine Depot selling the side skirts, and rear bumper too?
