Sway bar sizes...
Greetings fellow enthusiasts! I have a quick question regarding the diameters of two companies' products. Suspension Techniques sells a front and rear sway bar kit that has a 22mm bar up front and a 19mm bar in the back. I have searched the internet for specs on the Eibach brand's set, but with no luck. I would like to see if any of you guys possibly know the sizes? Thanks for your time.

(Oh, and I assume that bigger is better in this case.)

IIRC, the Suspension Techniques is the same size or SMALLER than the SS/SC stock bars. I remember when it came out it was listed for models other than the SS/SC, might have even been 2.2 only. Can't remember exactly though.
Eibach is not needed for the SS/SC just get the Progress Sport rear sway it can be had for a good price, the front bar on our car is adequate, plus if you wanted to replace the front you would have to raise the transmission and or engine to get to it.
If you have an ss/sc, it's not worth changing the front. By getting a bigger front bar you'll understeer even more than it does now, which for FWD car you DO NOT want.
Also just a note, someone mentioned above that that a 24mm rear sway would match the SS/SC front sway. The bar sizes front vs. rear really don't matter much. I believe that this car is well balanced with a 19mm rear and the stock ss/sc bar up front. If you match the front and the rear size wise, this particular car will be really unbalanced.

Very nice my fellow ss/sc owners! Thanks for the info, so....I should just get the progress rear sway bar then? As soon as I get the word, it is on order, credit card in hand! lol
Do it up, I bought mine and I love it. As soon as I get full-sized pics I have body roll comparison from a track day without the rear sway and with the rear sway through the same corners. Definitely a noticeable difference.

Tirerack.com has the Eibach full sway set. But like everybody else said, the front way bar is good enough, so the rear will REALLY put your car on rails.
