Ok, I've got a bit of $$, so I'm trying to decide if I should get rims or exhaust. I'm leaning towards rims, but I'm not sure...

anywho...anyone that has pics of their car with rims, post it, I want input

I acugtally think the stock 18's look really really good. So deff a catback out of your options.... but I would go GMPP S2 in your shoes!

I'd rather stick with 18's that I can put my stock tires back on. I want chrome or black, I think 5 spokes, but I don't mind split spokes either.

If I go with exhaust, I'm going with GMPP. For cat-back, is sport or touring better?

Ya, I don't mind mine I guess, but I'd like to upgrade, eventually at least.

And I have stage 2

Some Sort of Cat Back

My second choice would be black rims with polished lips. But, an exhaust would make that Suburst Orange ever so much sexier IMO.

It will also make people listening know they're in for a butt-whooping! It would be a nice compliment to your stage II.

It really depends on what the chrome rims look like... But I voted for black rims with polished lip.

The exhasut are identical on performance, ust touring sounds deeper and a little more quiet. Both are excellent, just touring for me! Deep sound is my likeing!

You got power, so go for the lowering. Your car would be sleeper as hell.

I have orange as well, stage 2 cai, and when i had no exhaust it was sweet cause most thought i was stock.

if you got the money for rims, id buy that now before you spend the money.. you can always get the cat-back next.. rims are more expensive then the cat-back..it shouldnt too long before you had the money for the cat-back next.

Yeah, I have the polished ones. I was trying to decide if I would sell them or just put some winter tires on them, but I might just use some 17's for winter too, don't know yet.

Ok. Well I still don't know what I'll do. I want both, but I am worried that the exhaust will be loud, which I definitely don't want. I do want to sound as close to stock as possible, at least for around town driving.
I'm getting some rim ideas today, pricing, availability, etc. I'll post pics later of the ones I'm considering.
I wish the price of exhaust hadn't gone up on CED. Sucks.

Most people here ask me if my Cobalt "came that way" meaning, with the rims and the wing. They think I put them on an LS or something. Most don't know the SC exists (this is Wyoming, you know...) So I think I'll have that 'element of suprise' for a while

You can go as small as 16's for winter tires, will be a bit cheaper.

Personally I think the stock rims look nice, and would just get them powdercoated black.
