I took my car down to the local track last night and was suprised at the times that I got. It was about 60 degrees outside.

1st run...

r/t .824
60' 2.44
330 6.989
1/8 10.708
MPH 66.82
1000 13.860
1/4 16.589
MPH 82.49

2nd run....

r/t .972
60' 2.449
330 6.984
1/8 10.821
MPH 67.13
1000 13.845
1/4 16.573
MPH 81.57

Are these typical times for a LS with a CAI? or is it just the really bad reaction times...

Your 60 fts are what is killing your time. Get that shit down to about 2 or 2.1 and you will see high 15's. Get it below 2 seconds and you will be hitting mid 15's :)

was this your first time at the track? if so, i wouldn't worry about your times man. i had crappy times w/ my car too when i first went. you will improve man, just gotta keep at it. your reaction time has nothing to do w/ your 1/4 time man. the time doesn't start till after you go forward and cross the sensors. good luck w/ your future track runs. :)

yes it was my first time at the track. I will probably be going more often so hopefully it will improve.

reaction time has absolutely nothing to do with your et, and seeing a 2.0 or even a 2.2 is absolutely gonna be damn near impossible on a ls that has nothing but a hot air intake

I can probably get close if I keep the tires under control
