cars for cancer (Calgary, AB)

hey guys i just came across this website and pretty much what it is is a huge car show here in calgary to raise money for cancer.http://www.coolcarscruising4cancer.ca/index.html
anyways i was looking through and theres car clubs from all over alberta going, the goal is to reach 2500 cars.
i was thinking itd be pretty cool if we could get a few members from here to join in and we could represent css.net!
its on august 26, starting at 9am, addmission is $30 per car or just $5 to spectate!
i think itd be a good chance for a solid meet and represent the balt!

Thanks Bud. She went quickly. So were OK with her passing. Got some Bussness associates and Friends who's mothers also died from Pancriatic cancer and we raised over 1 mil for research.

yes it is. Well, in my job i deal with alot of big wigs. I'll see what I can come up with. We raised that first mil cause about ten people we new lost someone within a month or to of mine passing so it was pretty easy to get people to cough up some cash. Plus it helps that most of the contributers were all in the same meeting when i phoned my buddy to give him the news. he had to lexcuse himself from the meeting and upon his return it was obvious that he had shed some tears so when asked what happened i guess it struck a cord with everyone so they cancelled the meeting. We all met up later at a local watering hole and started talking and the next thing we knew people were signing checks, phone calls were made and whamo 1 mil was raised.

amasing

ya i know the feeling my grandfather had prostate cancer that had spread to bad. he held on till my grandparents 50th anniversary and my grandmother just told him to go. and the next day he was gone. so i too try and do as many as i can afford.

and all of you who are going to do it just a reminder that there are limited spots left. i'll find out how many spots are left on monday and make a post.

How is it that there are limited spots left. It just said there goal was 2500 cars not 2500 cars and thats it. Did I miss something.

i don't know the exact specifics but my mom who works at the cancer society said that there are limited spots now that is probably just for the show part that would be awesome if there were that many cars for the cruise.
