No i am not parting it there is nothing to part as for the rims the front two are so bent they cannot be fixed trust me already looked into it, so I am having a local shop write me a receipt saying they were 4 thousand so I will get my moneys worth and screw the insurance company over they deserve it saying it will take a month to get me a check. I hate them.

WOW!!!! What happened? Not that it had any effect in the front end collision but how did the side curtains help out or not at all?

I said it once in another post of mine that I have totalled 3 cars 2 of them not my fault and they were both front end collisions dodge intrepid (hurt), cavalier (hurt really really bad same type of accident) cobalt ss (was the "cushiest" wreck I have ever had and it was the worst of them all) so all you cobalt owners rest assured your car is very protective. Thank You Chevy I don't beleive a person in a mustang would walk away from that with only a small gash in the leg.

You bet you're right. It did its job from the pics. I saw a black Cobalt LS coupe that had been T-boned at about 40MPH a few weeks ago, and all the air bags (including side curtain) went off. Car looks like it protected its occupants rather well considering the severity of the accident!

As others have already said "cars can be replaced but people can't". Glad to see you're ok glocklade, and hope that everything works out for you with your insurance.

May your Silver SS R.I.P.

Glad you're OK...here's a little something to make you feel a bit better about what happened.
