New guy.. Pics of my Car, also need some info

Wats up guys.. im 19 and i live in New York... Im huge into cars and racing. My father owns a garage that I work at + i also work as an asst manager at an office building. For my age i think i make Very goood money and of couse i spend it on cars ... This is my current baby right now that im almost finished building, 95 mustang, 302, heasd - cam - intake - full exhaust - all the bolt ons - i have a vortech supercharger but just recently sold because the offer was very high and i made a nice profit on it.... My current daily driver is 95 lazer but im VERY interested in a supercharged Cobalt ... i want something fun, race insprired, has aftermarket parts available for cheap and good on gas... not many people around have the SS so im interested... Im not a fan of the big spoiler and i want to know if there are any alterantives.. i also do my own powedercoating so i wanna do the rims in flat black maybe, then move on to performance (exhaust, intake, pulley) Also, i do my own tuning as well and im wondered if there are an good engine management systems for the supercharged SS..... thanx for readin guys, i plan on hangin around for a little and doin some research and maybe pick myself up one in the next couple of weeks.. here a couple shot of my mustang, and a few shots of the recent powdercoating i did for my friends VR4

Welcome to the site! As far as the spoiler goes, on the new SS's there is a spoiler delete option, or you can get a new one with the low profile spoiler as well.

If you don't want the high rise spoiler, you can now get one without the spoiler entirely, or a smaller spoiler that you would find on the base models/ss na.

Welcome to the forums, and nice car!

doe the high rise spoiler and the smaller spoiler ^^^ use the same holes? because i might pick up a used car, then try and find the smaller spoiler, but i dont want to have to cover up the old holes

NICE... I haven't seen anyone else on here with the sport red tintcoat ss/sc.

I don't THINK the holes match up, but I'm not sure... A lot of people swap trunk lids with eachother, so you could consider that. Plenty of 2.2 Cobalt guys want the high rise spoiler and would probably be willing to trade.

Nice lookin Stang. Any pictures of the motor/interior? My friend has a '95 Cobra that we're putting new heads/cam/exhaust/suspension on. Plus he got a real '95 Cobra R hood that he will be putting on his. He is still going back and forth as to whether or not to get a Kenne Bell on this year or next.

i was originally going with a Kenne Bell Flowzilla/Blowzilla setup but i came across a local vortch v1 s trim with a rebuilt head unit, bought it for 1300 and sold it 2 weeks later for 1700... I was lookin and Chevy offers teh stage II upgrade (pulley/injectors), do u guys recommend i get it through them? it comes warrantied so i think its a good idea? and also, anyone make a good set of cams for it?

heres an old shot, looks much different now but i dnt really have any good recent pictures, im thinking about chroming everything out but i havent decided yet

Nice Mustang, and welcome to the site.

As far as the spoiler goes, if you find a car you like with the high spoiler there are a few things you could do. First, a lot of 2.2L and 2.4L guys like the spoiler, so it would be easy to find someone for a trunk swap. Second, I don't know if you're a fan of carbon fiber or not, but you can also get a carbon fiber trunk from a few of our supporting vendors. I am currently waiting for mine to be delivered, comes without any spoiler holes and a shaved lock

Either way, good luck with your purchase man

Whoa... wait a minute... you want something that's fun, race inspired, and cheap to mod? Stick with the 'stang dude. I hate to say it... but 'stangs are a lot cheaper to make fast than the SS/SC. Sure... gas is a bitch... but that's a small price to pay for 300+ hp. Most Cobalts aren't gonna break the 300 mark.

Can't say I have love for the stang but its not bad man. After you drive the SS/SC you may want to sell the stang lol. No but all joking aside welcome to the site. I know you would enjoy a SS/SC if your in to cars as much as you say you are. Good luck man, tons of info here to help out.

Untill their warnity runs out. Then 300hp is not very hard to make IMO. Can't wait for the blower swap!!!

Yes most people seem happy with stage II i should know here in a couple of weeks. Dont forget you can also get exhaust and manifold from GMPP also under warranty. You seem like you want the car for the same reason I got mine, something fun and to save gas at the same time. Only I dont have something fun at home to drive like that stang.......yet lol. As far as the spoiler goes you can delete or swap trunks or spoilers. I swapped spoilers with someone and love it.

If you can find a used 06' or if your lucky an early '07 with low miles and the G85 package which comes with Recaros and a limited slip I'd highly advise it. And oh yah go for Orange......... they dont make that color anymore nor do they include recaros with the G85package. Persausion............

hehe no no, now you got me worried, i know i have limited slip cause it says so on my window sticker, but it doesnt say recaros, i think i have them cause it has the SS emblems embroidered on the seat and the seat has very nice side support so i think its the recaros, but it doesnt say recaro on them like some i have seen pics of.
