i wouldnt call that wasted. any time or money spent on a cobalt shouldn't be considered wasted... unless its a airplane spoiler

of course. sometimes I drive off half a tank when i go hunting.
FIRST MOD SUGGESTION: 3.0" ZZP S/C Pulley, then a CAI (No Tuning Required)

whats up germany balt?
suggestion: launch at 1,500 RPM when it hops, let off and punch it right away. should get your times into the high 13's. suggested by a SRT-4 driver at the track, and it worked for me! good luck
BTW, what are your mods?

Last weekend a couple buddies with a WRX and Legacy GT and I went on a cannonball run down some roads. Used over a 1/4 tank in about an hour ... 8.7 mpg average lol. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th WOT fun!

Also, about a week after I got the SS, my dad wanted to drive it. Yup, 120 in a 50, and say wow, this 4 banger's got some PEP to it! And he was smiling ear to ear lmao! Awesome time!

same for me. i have had my 07 ss/sc for less then a week and i just gave up on trying to find excuses to drive it and now i just randomly drive. i took mine to visit my dad as well and he wouldnt even drive it, said he was too old for a car like that, but he kept saying over and over "i cant believe its a 4 cylinder"

i was surprised that my pops wouldn't give it a shot, he used to race a bug eyed sprite up in canada and had hemi cuda at one point. but his knees are shot so i think he didnt want to play with the clutch, witch is admittedly stiff.
