Solstice 1/4 mile times? (gxp)

Hey guys just got a quick question. Im pretty sure i would win but cant find any info to help my case. My buddy thinks that a new gtp solstice would walk my balt. I have stage 2 w/ injen intake, ingalls, nitto street tires, sportsline springs and a short throw shifter. what do you think? even stock for stock wouldint it be close?

Um, I hang around a little bit on the solstice forums, and I think it would be neck & neck w/ your mods. They are low 14 high 13 sec cars stock, so a little above the SS/SC. But since you got Stage 2, it should be really close. Also depends if its a roll or a dig I guess.

you could look at car and drivers numbers.

By the numbers, they look pretty well matched. If you are a good driver and have Stg 2, you "will" win.

Ahhh bench racing at its very finest. The GXP is fast from what I've read but try it and see what happens.

As you can see in my post, I said that "By the numbers they looked pretty well matched. If you are a good driver and have Stg 2, you "will" win."

I am using the Car and Driver times as a stock reference. Please make note of the comment about Stage 2.

You will beat him from a roll with ease. I think they trap anywhere from 98-100 so you should have no problem from a roll....hope that helps

i gotta say the balt is gonna take this one stg 2 balts are capable of mid/high 13s. from a dig it will be very close he actually would probly win but not by much but if you go from a roll you shouldnt have much trouble at all.
what speeds to they trap stock(solstice) arent stg2 balts trapping 103-104

What is the best time for his mods then compare that to the best times for a GXP, I am sure it is very similar. The original poster never asked about magazine times.
What crawled up your butt and died? I don't belive this thread is about a scooby wrx tr...because if you think so, please get out of here.

just like 14.9-15.0 isn't close to 14.2, but the RSX guys seem to think thats a drivers race STOCK

anything could happen on the street. the faster car dosen't always win. accept it.

when you say it like that, it's GOTTA BE our old friend CODYSS! Welcome back buddy.
