Yup I hooked us ALLLLL up! You can thank me with + rep thank you very much! Anyway they specialize in F body cars but he has done several Cobalts and now that he's offered to help get rid of my CEL in exchange for a copy of my tune how could I say no? Better then that for $50.00 I get an hour on his dyno! $75.00 Total gets me dyno tuned! And its all for opening the door to tuning the 2.4's for him, pretty cool huh? So I'll get pricing from him as to what he'll charge for his tune and dyno time from him but so far guys he will be the ONLY shop on the east coast who can/will/wants to tune our 2.4's!

This saturday (I hope) I'll get my tune fixed and get dynoed, and dyno tuned for a whopping $75.00!

BTW he also does F body cars and has some unGodly bad assed cars! Most of his strret cars run in the 9's!!!! He has several cars that run in the 8's and get kicked out of tracks for not having a parashoot!!! (sp?) His GRANDMOTHER owns a daily driven 11 sceond 2002 Z28 SS! AND SHE RACES IT!!!!!!

I'll keep you all posted on this cool new shop and any going ons with him and any ETA's for him to start tuning other 2.4's!

Yes hes using HPT. According to him he can tune anything how ever we need it. (we'll see)
And yes he's modifying my tune to work properly.

I'll post it as soon as he gives the ok and he can actualy do it.

Not really and he is in southern VA so I'll ask for you guys. He's cool so it may be a go for you guys too. I'll talk to him tomorrow and see what he thinks but he's into SERIOUS race cars guys! I joked mine must be the slowest car he's ever worked on he laughed and said but its still quick for what it is isn't it? I said its not half bad and he replied as long as your happy with it then thats all that matters.

is this place near baltimore? how far away is it from the philly area?

 

Just south of Bmore, I'd say about 2 hours or so depending on traffic. Harrisburg is about an hour from here so figure however long it takes you to get to Harrisburg then just add the other hour down 83.

 

Well Jeff had a bad night last night, never showed up but his partner did WHO knows nothing about tuning my car or a dyno run or anything! :::sigh::: Oh well better luck next week I guess.

Hey i'm about to be staying in SC, so if this place is 2 hrs south of baltimore its like 5 hrs from me... anyone else know of a closer place i can get a good tune???

Well he was closed this week end so I'll hit him up monday. Hes already fixed my tune he just needs to upload it and no more CEL! He actualy wants to work on Cobalts its just he's sooo busy its hard for him to find the time.

Anyway he said its OK so here it is! PERFORMANCE SPECIALISTS 410-766-7PSI His name is Jeff he's the owner. Now he hasn't work out pricing yet so IDK what you could ask him about yet.

 

WOOOT If I had a 2.4 Id be even happier, but seeing as I got my cavy handed to me I wont be getting a 2.4 for while, good luck with the tuning and such.
