It would depend on engine size and previous mods. On a stock ss/sc you can see between 5-10hp. However I have heard of 15hp. That is a lot in my opinion, but between 5-10 seems more reasonable. This is also a cold air intake meaning the power gains will be seen more on mid to top end areas of the powerband.

I am not 100% sure. I have not investigated the 07 models closely to see if they made any drastic changes to any of the sensors or if there would be any other fitment problems. I will look into that asap. and post up my findings.

I'm pretty sure it does, since a 2.2 is a 2.2, they haven't done any drastic changes to the setup (as far as I know). Please flame the hell out of me if I'm wrong. But, I'll let the seller tell you that it fits for sure, since there is a chance that i'm completely wrong.

It will fit your 2.2 if it is not equipped with that SAI, secondary air injection thingy. I'm not that knowledgable about it, but I know that if you do have it, normal 2.2 intakes will not work. The only intake that will work with the SAI will be the AEM system, if I recall correctly. From what I've read, the secondary air intake system is found on some 06 and 07 Cobalts, so you may have it. I would recommend you do a search for it, and figure out if you have it or not, before you committ to a purchase. Nothing would suck more than buying an intake, and not having it fit/work properly on your car.

Exactly, Sometimes you just have to make it work. It's a snug fit but its all good.

yeahhh no words can explain the sexminess of the sound the S/C makes now.... accually sounds like it has a SUper charger now... installation was kinda difficult task though... had to bend couple things back.. placed rubber silicon where the piping dips into the chamber area.. and had to drill the wheel weld cover into the car.. and had to use another rubber magigger to connect the two pipes together... other than that... its sexy

That is the problem. There aren't too many options. The only one I would attempt on attaining in the vibrant one. Its very nice. it's actually apart of the 4-2-1 header, and it comes with a high flow cat.


Anyway.....


Tomorrow 5/18/07 is the last day of the Fujita intake super GB for the prices of $205 for the 2.2L and $255 for the 2.0 ss/sc. On the 19th it both prices will go up by $20.

Awwwww.....sorry bud. I am not sure why no one makes anything for that model. I checked and nada. What you should do is hook up with a buddy who has a 2.2 or 2.0 and check how the intake manifold looks. See the differences and see what can be done to put a CAI on it.

My gain was a noticeable difference. It pulls harder in the upper range, and the whine is orgasmic! Make sure you install it where it fits properly. That why people get rubbing. They dont install it to fit.

Oh and enjoy the better gas mileage if you dont gun it as much. I went from 16/17mpg (spiritied driving) to 20/21 mpg (spirited driving).

I agree with you that if you install it where its suppose to go you dont get the rubbing. I didnt have any problems with mine rubbing and its been on for several months.

I think the 2.2L has a little more room to install than the 2.0L and 2.4L so I don't think rubbing will be a problem. I can't wait for the gas mileage to go up as well. Especially these days, anything to help you get a few extra miles is good.

Nicely said. Yeah you should get the engine breathing a bit better with this. There fore free up some lost HP.

Its noticeable - the sound difference is the biggest turn-on for me though. I haven't noticed any gas mileage increase (i average 22 on the island, 28 off), but i'm hopeful.

The car is fine, and it runs fine, I think it is for the air pump for the exhaust, There is just no where to put it

well it seemed like at an idle, It was not sucking air, I don't know if it does after the car warms up or what. My though was to find an airfilter and stick it on the end

Do you have a boost gauge?? What is the vacume readout....does it change with it plugged vs open??

I am sorry but we did clearly post up earlier about the SAI problem. I did offer advice on how to cost effectively solve your problem. Unfortunately you chose to post this up while I was attempting to help out via AIM. We are still trying to go over on how to make this work for ya without having to return the product. On your invoice, it states that returns are subject to a restocking fee. We can try to work on that tomorrow during the work day. In any case, please let us know what we can do. We forewarned everyone on here for that problem. As well, you can even sell this on ebay as you purchased it for the super low GB price :) if you would like. We are trying to help you in any way possible.

Ha ha....no worries bro. It will fit your car. The reason it says that is because the system has its limits and is not fully updated for the 2007. The only time it will not fit is if you have the SAI on the 2.2L due to not having an extra bung on the piping.

As far as I know...since I we did not get to test fit this...and since Fujita them selves did not test fit it either....It will not fit. Sure there might be a chance that you can make it fit with some modifications but that is not something that is up to me. Have you looked into any friends cars that have the 2.4L how different are they on the intake side?

Also who is using what for the 2.4L for an intake....maybe I can offer that at a better rate than whats out there.

I was made to believe it would fit my car, and would think a company would honor the fact that it didn't fit my car and swap it out for the right one ... even if that buyer had to pay for just shipping. I think that's the fair way to handle things, seeing as people spend their hard earned money on things like this and to find out the company wants to charge an outrageous restocking fee on something they are returning because of the fact they were not told it wouldn't fit their car. I think everyone here can vouch for that and say I should be honored and get a even swap out for the right intake that fits my car. There was no warning or anything when I bought the intake, and after I received it and found out it wouldn't fit I went to your website and it said the intake wouldn't fit my year.

I talked to my boss, and the lowest we can go is 15% re-stocking fee. Remember this is a GB price that was super low. The 25% is on your invoice that you got from us right away in your email as well as on www.thmotorsports.com. We just cant be held responsible for some things like this, but again, we try to work them out. Most companies would just ignore emails, phone calls, aim etc, but we chose to help you out in any way possible with options. Hey....thanks for the support bud. I did try to lay down some insight on what to do as well. I think as well that selling it to a friend would be the best bet....this way you can actually try to make some money off of it or at lest break even and make someone happy. However I also attempted to explain how to cost effectively make a quick mod to make the intake work without sending a check engine light. Well....I hope we can all resolve this issue. I am willing to help out any as best that I could.

Yeah it is a tight fit. It would have been nice if Fujita made the bends just a little better but still once its it it does it's job well. However he had a different fitment problem. We are working things out.

Just a quick plug... I just checked out to see if I had any rubbing issues after about 300 miles... and there are none. If you take your time, get a buddy to help you, the fujita fits pretty well, although it takes a little bit of patience to get it in... Thanks again adam, this intake is great.

Nice find...that is very rare. I hope it goes through for you. Ebay is not always evil...lol. I am alittle confused about the free shiping though. Since later on it says its $30. than again it says free. Weird. Check that out before you spend your money.
