$15 to race, 5 bucks to spectate. Anyone interested in going to meet up with me tomorrow? I am thinking of going to get some practice when I go back up to Michigan and Drag on Saturday at Milan.

It would give this Michigan boy a good warm welcome..

Also, is this track any good?

 

The track is outstanding!! I will also be there as well. its a lot of fun, it could be crowded tomorrow, but still a good time!

 

i think the track is okay, but from what ive seen can be hillbilly. but hey if your heading down, i live right off of 75 in lima. i was sort of hoping for an ohio get together (small one) for guys in the area.

if anyone is interested. I will also be bringing my video camera. Very nice camera. I will make a Drag race video of some ass kicking for the members on the site. :P I will get proof of your times so it makes it even more fun! I am an excellent photographer and video co-ordinator. I have all my gear so you guys are in luck.

I won't be able to make it. The track is okay. A little hillbilly at times but it doesn't matter. Everyone is there to go fast, so it is a good time for all. My biggest complaint is that when it is busy I might only get 3-4 passes in a night. My advice is to be there when the gates open. When I do that I can usually make 3-4 passes in the first half-hour and then I always leave by 8 or 9 because the staging lanes are so full it takes an hour + to cycle.

 

I spent all the rest of my night cleaning my car up for tomorrow.

Bah! Wish I would have known in time to get someone to work for me tomorrow... Oh well. Guess the SS will have to wait a lil bit longer to get timed.

I will just be a spectator tonight as well; because I do not have a helmet. I would be thrown out on my first pass, and that wouldn't be any fun!!

Also, I didn't get my wideband installed last night because of the rain

 

I take it you need a helmet if your running faster then a 14?

 

Correct. Under 13.99 you need a helmet. as an FYI, under 10.99 you need a cage.

yep, 13's. Aaron's defintely working, and I believe the rule is no racing of a car they are still making payments on. I dont think the SKY RL will see the track for a long time.

And for the record, the SKY RL isn't much of a match for my car right now. Its pretty lopsided.

 

Shoot, if you got the wing off now you're def. under 13 Big wing drag FTL..... Of course you always got the Zoey seat bonus. Where can we get helmets so I can actaully go and race next time? At Dragway 42 back near Wooster its if you're sub13 you need one.
