metal shavings in halos

well i had to drill the extra hole for the hids... anywaz i finished the job but after i realized that there were some metal shavings inside the headlight.. what would be the best way to get these out without damagin the light... thanks for any ideas

i would try a high powered magnet... try to draw them toward the hole you drilled, and fish 'em out.

well its aluminum and the whole i drilled was to accomidate the hid bulb so its nothing.. if anything id have to try and force it out the back of the light but iono.. black halos dont look that great with lil shavings in the housing

Pull the rubber plugs on the bottom get your handy dandy garden hose and flush em out! I had to do this on the ones I got from Devon cause they had the same problem. Anyways use a blow dryer to dry em out.

Stick the hose where the turn signal bulb goes and let her rip!

Without the blow dryer it takes about 2 days for them to dry out inside.

noo.. pull the plug then grab a shop vac and suck em out through the hole .. you have to have the lights out tho so you can twist and turn it

That could work too, but I didn't have one but I do have a hose and blow dryer!
